Sir Alex Ferguson- Just watched interview with him on Sky Sports Horse Racing channel, he looks to have aged quite a lot in last year or so since his wife died, his voice sounds weaker to me then it use to and would be 85 years of age at end of 2026, might be a bit too early but can see him going in next couple of years and too big a name to miss.

RIP Jimmy, finally at peace he suffered for long enough, a great man even if he wasn’t a great president, a sad loss.

My Grandma fell and broke her collar bone 2 years ago at 95 and is still going at 97 even if she has gone down a lot recently, her iron levels are down, don’t think that can be attributed to her fall, but then again breaking your collar bone although not great at her age isn’t as bad as your hip. My friends Grandma died recently at 92, after falling and breaking her hip in September, I think a lot depends on overall health of individual and if they have strength and will power left to fight it at their advanced ages, it isn’t always a death sentence but in a lot of cases it is, luck of the draw I suppose.

Sounds like they know he has gone and will announce his death shortly unless club have told them not to mention it

I did read it somewhere this morning but can’t seem to find it mentioned when I looked again however the average life span of someone with the disease is between 5 to 8 months after being diagnosed so its unlikely he will be around come 2026 sadly

Ian Smith, Harold from Neighbours has announced he is leaving show due to having terminal Cancer and is expected to die in next few months, one for next years list? Sad news though always liked him.

Think a lot of it is to do with rumours about his personal life and possibly being a Paedophile and how him Nicholas Lyndhurst don’t seem to get on anymore. I remember at the time it came out about Russell Brand personal life on channel 4, there were people thinking stuff about David Jason might come out too. Apparently according to papers the police are after other really high profile people and celebrities but because of who they are and power they have they keep getting away with it but all will be revealed after their deaths, be interesting to see if anything like this comes out a few months or a year after Sir David Jason dies or if it’s just cruel rumours. I hope he is innocent but nothing would surprise me.

I think we’ll be seeing more of Fergie at Aberdeen games now, probably give him an extra bit of “Fergie time” as watching United is bad for your health.

Agreed just heard news, not a one direction fan by any means, but do remember him on X Factor when it was THE Saturday Night show to watch, so sad to die at such a young age, sounds like it could be suicide but obviously more will come out in the days and months ahead. Shocking news, wasn’t expecting it. Feel sorry for his family especially his young son. RIP.

Should be dead by tomorrow then.

Surely if he does win again and become president, there will be more attempts to kill him and odds are eventually someone will succeed.
