Loved Victoria Principal as Pam in Dallas as a child- but as an adult rewatching it on DVD I know appreciate Sue Ellen and Donna a lot more because they were less angelic and more complicated which is interesting to watch. As a child Pam was the saintly innocent lovely character who stood up to nasty JR but I see more than that now! -
Right thanks very much! As you probably know I am not really competitive and am unlikely to pose any threat to any player in any pool! I just felt it was right to let you know. My preference would be for Connie Francis as no new information has come out. However just so you know, while I am not really competitive I have treated this as game and thus my own personal shadowlist( which of course is not in any competition ) is slightly different to this list. Some names such as Vera Miles and Jacqueline White are the same but others are different. In the light of that if you are still OK letting me decide then I pick Connie Francis! Thanks for your patience.

Number 23 is missing it goes 22 then 24 but the initial error is mine so I think the only realistic solution is to insert my first sub Graham Nash rather than a name I forgot to post in my initial list? Of course it's up to you 100% but it's either that or having a team with 49 names? Thanks
-
@John Key Just noticed as I was writing all my team lists down that I seem to only have 49 names instead of 50. According to my scrap paper work that should have been Connie Francis but I don't seem to have typed her name in my submitted list according to search so the fault is mine! Apologies!! It's number 23 missing so please just move my first sub in its place please. Thanks
-
@La Faucheuse I would please like to add Sally Jesse Raphael as my new third sub please. Thank you and Happy New Year.

Congratulations on your achievement @Spade_Cooley much deserved A gold standard hugely impressive summary of the year @Death Impends A very enjoyable and well put together read and I am not just saying that because it acknowledged that the record breaking was all really down to me and my enema raindance!! Just kidding-ta for the mention and roll on 2023 which going by the lists posted on this thread so far I believe will match the 280 record of 2022.

Would this be a good time to mention that when I stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow over ten years ago in 2011 and McFly was doing a concert at the Hydro and were known to be staying in my Hotel on a reserved floor. There must have been 40 or 50 teenage girls aged 16 and 17 waiting around the hotel , the lobby , reception, restaurant, shop and other places trying to get a shag with band members and going by some of the hustle bustle commotion and noise in the hotel in the early hours some of them succeeded! A group of about 5 girls wore a t shirt saying Busted Fuck me!

For me Unique picks are never about winning. I have zero chance of being a contender in terms of winning the DDP so any enthusiasm and fun is redirected into Unique picks were I feel I can achieve several goals or objectives. Keeping the game interesting and fun for me. Helping a little in making the pool interesting and enjoyable for others, adding the spice of variety, the taste of eccentricity and exploring the boundaries for my own satisfaction of my niche or favourite areas of interest. Rembering one thing leads to another and then a link by association to something else until I have explored and rembered things that have took me somewhere I hadn't planned on. I also like to think in a round about odd way I am giving some people who might be overlooked the compliment of acknowledgement- in particular people whose roles are important but underappreciated Just my incomplete thoughts in favour of the joys of chasing juicy Unique picks- remember anticipation, the chasing, the fun of just doing regardless of reward is half the thrill with so many things in life ! I always enjoy beating or besting my own personal record but will not be devastated if I don't.

1st Crowdsourced Deathlist hit
Gooseberry Crumble replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in Dead Pools
James Watson for me. -
Peter is part punt and partly based on whispers in the acting fraternity in Liverpool that ended up reaching my ears. Your Crown Court team looks decent and solid.
-
Surely the crowdsourced deathlist of 50 completely fulfills that need? I don't think the official Deathlist needs to go hybrid in that way regardless of whether their picks are good choices or not.
-
Another fragment of my thoughts-I think the Duchess of Kent should have been included given she was the only member of the whole large extended royal family working and non working not to attend the Queens funeral when she has attended these type of events before .
-
Good advice!! My information indicated his hedonism 'hard partying ' lifestyle went way beyond his years in Five Stars peak years of fame. I decided it was long shot punt that was worth it.
-
A partial punt and also based on information I was aware of about a heavy hedonistic party lifestyle that tends to catch up with people sometimes in their fifties.
-
For the benefit of pool runners @Death Impends and @gcreptile The Peter Christian actor in my Gooseberry team is the 75 year old Liverpool actor who played Frank Rogers in Brookside and not another actor called Peter Christian. In the initial information I submitted I wrongly described Gary Tobian as a swimmer not diver in my Apricot Crumble team. Cheers!

@msc Sorry for delay but my tasty Crumble Teams are now posted!! Delay as I was trying to be good by going for a walk in a park to burn off my Christmas excess , start the year healthily and enable to fit into my new underwear as I am borderline about to go up into the next size if I don't!! It's sexy Giorgio Armani underwear too so I don't want that to happen!! Enjoy and feel free to offer feedback on my DDP teams!!
