People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
Sir Creep replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
OK maybe I'm missing something, but if there is a pre-existing master list of people who .... I guess (given the thread title).... were people who were shockingly still alive, you can't UPDATE the list. Everyone on it is KNOWN to be alive now. SMFH SC -
I think we've just discovered who 'The Committee' is.

Based on my limited experience (4 years) of DPing, I think esophageal cancer doesn't get the credit it deserves. It may not be 'pancreatic' but I think it ranks up there with right behind 'liver' as #3 in taking people down rather consistently. I find this new development rather noteworthy; as you know I poo-poo'd the Tapie noise in this forum, now I shall give it credence, no matter how 'ok' he is. 2019 is absolutely his year, D40 or bust. Alzheimer's sucks, but sounds like the film will be entirely forgettable to all of us. All of us Yanks at least. Amazon is poised to pull out of distributing Terry Gilliam’s “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” in the United States. SC

OK someone needs to say it. This thread is presently a waste of time. Checked in a couple times, looked her up, nothing to see here. No need to respond directly, I won't be opening this thread any time soon. SC

Sounds like JJ's back in a Miami hospital. But this makes it sound like he's never quite left. Ever. (Translated) " Since he arrived in Miami last February, he has never been to his home, always under medical supervision, and his family does what doctors say, slowly recovering, "he explained." SC

MMMDP Form Guide #34 - Donnie & Ronnie Galyon Q: What round on both sides and high in the middle? A: O-HI-O A2: a wheelchair used to cart a pair of wild and crazy brothers around. Chang and Eng Bunker held the record for the longest surviving conjoined twins, and did so for over a century. Then came a pair of Ohioans, the Galyon twins. Surpassing the record (63 years) in 2014, they continue to advance the record with each breath. Meaning they MUST have reached their end stage, no? History says it's time for these 66-year olds, and we use the plural loosely, to depart. Why choose one celeb when you can have TWO, and be joined at the hip with these fellows for MMMDP 2018.

Christopher Walken - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Walken 12 mins ago - PEE PEE (born Ronald PEE, March 31, 1943) is an American actor of screen and stage who has appeared in more than 100 films and television shows, including Annie Hall (1977), The Deer Hunter (1978), The Dogs of War (1980), The Dead Zone (1983), A View to a Kill (1985), Batman Returns (1992), True .... His first video role was as the Angel of Death in Madonna's 1993 "Bad Girl". ----------------------------------------------------- So someone briefly had fun changing Walken's name to PEE PEE. It was changed back by the time I clicked on Wiki. The work of Roey Juss? -
It's not enough for once wealthy and mother to 118 adopted children to now have stage 4 cancer, now Li Lijuan has been arrested for alleged blackmail/extortion and bank accounts frozen. SC

A man who was wanted for nearly 20 years for failure to pay child support in southwestern Michigan has pleaded guilty in his case. Joseph Stroup was known as Joop Cousteau before his arrest earlier this year in Canada. The government says his overdue child support in Van Buren County exceeded $500,000 ($559K to be exact). The Kalamazoo Gazette reports he entered the plea Monday in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids. Stroup faces up to two years in prison and restitution when sentenced. The newest largest deadbeat owes $250K. SC -
Actor and stand-up comedian Ken Jeong proved that his medical degree is no farce. He was performing at a comedy club in Phoenix over the weekend when a woman in the audience began having a seizure. Jeong stopped his show and tended to the woman, along with an EMT, until paramedics arrived. She was taken to a hospital. SC

Two names I've come across who may be of interest, though no particular reason healthwise. 1. Singer Kim Cordell has been living as a recluse for about 6 years now, and is 81. 2. Drummer Billy Cobham is 73, and we all know the clock has ticked almost all its ticks for musicians who are 73.
