Renowned veteran actress Kulsoom Sultan has passed away at the age of 68 due to complications during a routine angioplasty. According to a report by News One, the actress who had been a heart patient for quite some time now she suffered a heart attack which proved to be fatal. She was well known for her work in various Urdu and Sindhi dramas throughout her lifetime and her death is a great loss to the Pakistani television industry. SC

Tony Cooke, the former head of Unions WA (Western Australia) and figurehead for massive industrial protests against the WA government in the 1990s, has died at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer. SC

Former deputy premier and Labor stalwart Terry Mackenroth has revealed he has been diagnosed with a lung tumour. Mr Mackenroth said the tumour was discovered while he was seeking treatment for pneumonia at the Mater Hospital last week. It comes 20 years after he first fought and conquered lung cancer in 1998. Maybe you'll trust TMZ, who said in Sept 2017 she has all the related mental issues stated by Radaronline's article (meaning RO prolly just rebooted the TMZ info), but also lives like a recluse, which can't be good for someone getting dementia or Alzheimer's. Not exactly sure what the 'Sarah Lawrence Community' is (sounds like a school of higher ed, but I digress...), but on Jan. 18 construction officially began on the Barbara Walters Campus Center. President Cristle Collins Judd led a special groundbreaking ceremony. They put shovels to dirt, laying the symbolic foundation for a vision that will finally be realized in Fall 2019. This begs the question, and maybe a poll question: Do they break ground on Walter's burial plot prior to finishing the building dedicated to her? SC
