I'll see your headlines and raise you. This suggests it was all BS from Radaronline.

Looks like Ninjaman was another 'I"m having a heart attack' defendant in an ongoing murder trial. Also looks like his next chest pain complaint won't be heard by a judge, but rather a warden. Veteran Dancehall deejay Ninjaman was a life sentence in the Home Circuit Court for the March 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson. He is to serve 25 years before being eligible for parole. He was given 20 years for shooting with intent and life imprisonment for murder. SC

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic

The comma must have been 72-point bold cuz it killed him dead. SC -
Out of coma and rehabbing. Gonna be fine (for now).

Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen

In the category of great sports names, South Africa has an outstanding wicker-keeper batsman named Quinton de Kock. I stumbled upon this whilst searching other stuff -- so yes, I stumbled onto de Kock. SC -
He will (should I say may) reach that lofty milestone in 4 days; i.e. April 29.

Names are getting harder to find, young Joey. I have a couple interesting discoveries (one person even better than my tractor pulling hall of fame guy lol) but nothing to write home about. May re-boot a few from this month, frankly. The next 72 hours better be fruitful.

Yeah, I'm catching up with the conversation now. Well good on him.
-
Well it puts you in play at least. Gotta die to have an obit chance, and though I'd agree it looks slim to none, she's done her part. And as team construction goes, so have you. All you can do is wait. Good luck Joey. SC

Looks like everyone has cast their vote by now. As of April 24 I remain the only person with Vera Lynn, so when she gets run over by a double-decker April 28, all other ship jumpers are frauds. SC

Unbelievable.

"These are the good times" Well remember, musicians drop over in that 68-72 range. Nile is 65, he's transitioning. He has 3 years of bungles left in him at the very least. Should I put this in the prediction thread in case he has cerebral hemorrhage? I mean if you can't make the top 10 may as well make the bottom 10. SC

Here's an obit for Don Bustany, interesting in that it comes from The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC). "Bustany ... displayed a courageous commitment to civic activism on behalf of the Arab-American community and the Palestinian people. Bustany served for four terms as president of the ADC chapter in Los Angeles and for many years was a member of ADC’s advisory committee." Also interesting, well to a Detroiter like Sir Creep, that he was born in the D along with Kasem, so I guess Detroit can take the credit (or blame lol) for American Top 40. SC

He also died, if anyone was wondering. BTW even accident investigation scenes in New Zealand are idyllic. I need to move there.

How many 100+ year olds do you know? W'happen to the 'Who is the Oldest Person You Know' thread anyway?
-
Google Translate isn't being particularly friendly. Does this article say, or do you know why he's having surgery? Edit: OK looks like a blocked aorta maybe? lol Only thing worse than my Italian is my English.

Burying in 'Suggestions'? I don't understand that logic in the least. That is the exact thread I would expect to find 98% posts on living people, 80% probably posted cuz of a physical malady (the other 20% just age generally). That is the very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very first thread I go back and review. What -- you go thread by thread Joey? LMAO.... now THAT'S work. As stated before, I see something looks promising, I take a photo of the monitor for safe keeping. As for Shreve I thank you gcreptile as I got a hit in my home DP that requires two authors/writers. Sorry you didn't reap the rewards of your own post. I'd have never dreamed she would kick it before Judy Blume (my other author). SC

Dead late January.

Updating your disappointment as of April 24.

Here's me, and I 'used' to be able to see the Milky Way almost nightly. Thanks to all the oil field blowing up again there are rigs everywhere and what used to be barren landscape at night now has enough light pollution as to almost take that possibility out of play. That must really be pissing off the folks at the McDonald Observatory, which is probably juuusssst to the SW of this circle, if not on the line I've drawn. SC

Why is he posted in an Olympics thread?
-
Damn (well good for him, but...) I was hoping he’d stay deeper in the woods, looks like he’s scratched from May entries.
-
They paid it back. So let’s call it a loan *nudge nudge*
-
I interpret that photo as the only concrete plans he needs to make for Labor Day (U.S.) involve concrete slabs.
-
That’s really a sad one, not just cuz I constantly short listed him on age only so he always got pushed aside, but he did all the Schoolhouse Rock material and if that isn’t a lock cinch QO your country can (Interjection!). im really sorry to hear the loss off Mr Dorough. SC
