So the Reaper took out the entire band in about 26 months? Holy hell. SC

Yeah it sounds like something along those lines. I didn't inventory in my head each of those drugs listed but it sounds like too much at once. I'm not a doctor, I just play one on DL. SC

Another update on Clark. Clark said former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo, who researched the disease with fervor, helped alert him to a new medicine for ALS called Radicava. Because it became available in Japan before being distributed in the U.S., Clark flew to Japan to get a three-month head start. He’s also encouraged by progress being made in Israel with stem-cell studies. SC

He was a fat ass, this is the thread he belongs in. Fat kid, virtual certainty a fat adult. Died of sleep apnea, from fat folds of fat in his fat nostrils choking him. Actor Joseph Wayne Miller who appeared in the 1990s Disney movie “Heavyweights,” died at the age of 36. Miller’s mother, Patricia, said that he died in his sleep in Chicago on Tuesday, Jan. 9. The cause of death is not yet known (though his mother goes on about sleep apnea), and his girlfriend reportedly discovered his big huge fat dead body.

The Rolling Probabilistic Ddp Scoreboard
Sir Creep replied to gcreptile's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Y'all only picking him cuz last year's winner had him as a rare miss. Inverse Joker written all over it. You prolly had Bracknell at 90% last year, another one I told you wasn't going to die. As for the Elvis Aron Presley moment, the letter was written by Patrick CLYNE. You've all been duped! SC Patrick Clyne's emotional letter in full "I am living on borrowed time. I live in pain, but living is better than the alternative. Cancer is insidious, cruel and rapacious and I implore everyone to have regular checks to stop it gaining hold. "Recent months have brought into focus the things that are important to me. I have spent a lot of my life pursuing the ultimately pointless when there were better things to do. My family have always been important to me but I should have spent more time telling them so. "I do now and it creates joyfulness in our relationships. Of course, my football club has been important too and I am lucky that my family have shared my love of Barnsley FC. "For much of the time since I became the club's buyer of last resort, I allowed others to run the club, fearing that I did not know enough to win the respect and supporter of the 'football people'. It is ironic therefore that we enjoyed one of our most successful periods when I did take up the mantle ending in two successful visits to Wembley. "Maybe, one day before too long I will tell the secrets of how we did it. Certainly, the whole club working as one was instrumental. I don't know if we will ever repeat the sense of togetherness of that season, which extended also to the fans, their tolerance and incredible support. "There are many things I wanted to achieve before my custodianship of our fabulous team ended at the hand of the grim reaper. Of course, I wanted to see us get back to the Premier League and make since enhancements to the iconic West Stand. On a personal level, I wanted to bring back together all the 1912 cup final medals, but I only managed to retrieve five. "Most people realise I was a reluctant custodian but what has made it bearable against the occasional cruelty of the internet world is the kindness shown to me by so many fans on a personal basis. "People are not shy in coming forward and telling me they appreciate my efforts, even if I have fallen short of their aspirations. I receive many letters and cards from fans who share with me their memories and best wishes. I am grateful to them all. "Regarding this season, I think we will get stronger as it goes on and our team gels, not unlike the double Wembley season. I do not expect to live to see the ultimate outcome, but I travel in hope. "I wish you all a good football season and thank you for your kindness down the years." -
Cancel My Appointments (DDP) will have Dana Scatton as it's honourary team GM, and will continue to push forward on a very sensible DDP rule change that allows points for anyone who is 18 at death, and not needing to be 18 on Jan 1. The Malala Yousafzai rule. I fail to see why this isn't the rule to begin with. We will argue until Dana is blue in the face, or about 60 days. I have presented my case for a non-arbitrary rule, and hope those who oppose explain the arbitrary version the game is played under presently. SC

Seems like the masses have spoken, and they are certainly correct and I wrong. Surely I looked at Bobby Zarin and wrote his name down, but a quick look and if that Daily Mail don't come through you can forget about a QO. I crossed him off pretty early on as an unlikelihood of getting a QO, and without a finger on the pulse of UK media, I'm apparently wrong. What's new? Guess we will see soon enough, he won't see Easter. SC

Cute but fake. The last 4 day's temps make no sense. -

I am NOT a stickler for grammar, I promise, but did your brain actually think the sentence you typed? I'd give my brain a good lashing if it came up with 'gives me them'. SC

Not just an 'old' gorilla. One of the oldest silverback gorillas in the world has died at the age of 56. Nico, who lived at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire, UK, died in his sleep on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Canadian-born Alan Bleviss, who swayed the American people as the signature voice of the Democratic Party and lent gravitas to hundreds of movie trailers and TV commercials, has died. He was 76. Bleviss died Dec. 30 in New York City after a long battle with lung cancer, his daughter Sarah Jenny Bleviss told The Hollywood Reporter. Classic movie lovers will know his sonorous, honeyed voice from one-minute movie trailers for Scarface, Dirty Dancing and On Golden Pond, as the voice of Enterprise rental cars commercials and as a host of other blue-chip advertisers like AT&T and American Express. Whitehouse you need to actually vote for de Havilland.
-
Being 86 isn't a reason to pick him, and I ain't finding anything re: health. What was your insight on this one? Agreed, fab pick.
-
DAMN....straight up miss on huge points right there.

Why would Mel Gibson be calling Barbara Walters?
-
Except this is all moot. I was well aware of Mitt’s prostate cancer. I could swear he spoke about it last Fall.
-
I know...jotting it down. I wish there was a more scientific way of finding names other then trial and error. I have to admit 'Bernardo' never made it to my keyboard. That said it's funny how some drunk like Jose Jose is some guy on a silly DDP theme team, and moves up the ranks to approach 'DDP darling'. Pretty cool actually. SC

Thatcher sure is quick with the porn obits. Just sayin.
-
Ah yes of course. Getting my wires crossed. You are correct her obit is already written waiting to publish (maybe too early by accident). I noticed she was at a high level of activity on Worshington the past couple weeks, complaining about this and that as a good Democrat should be doing I reckon. Perhaps it was that which led me to strike her name in the end (she was one of my last 10 DDP cuts, but I used her in my own home league DP as my 20th name...I can't use all the obtuse names like here). Pancreatic can knock someone down inside of a month of course so maybe I will regret that decision, like so many come December lol. SC

Ms. Winters was given very serious DDP consideration by another odd fellow a couple weeks ago, but Ms. Ruth Samuelson soured me on taking state representatives (thus, Ms. Mazie Hirono probably a poor pick as well). Until I see one of the aforementioned duo receive a QO, I think I'll stick by the rule to avoid such names. As for Mr. Winn -- his name says it all! GL with that pick GCR. SC Edit: I learned about 20 years ago, as I drove through the state the only time I would ever cross it's borders, that denizens pronounce the name of the state 'Or-eh-ginn'. As opposed to 'gahn' or 'gun', which I think everyone outside of OreGINN says. As for the residents, I believe (but may be corrected) that it is pronounced 'Or-e-GO-nians', long O. Hey, I'm a Michigander...what do you expect?

For those of you -- and let' s be honest, it's every single one of us -- preparing to enter an All-Oregon DDP team next year, here are the stats for the leading causes of death in Oregon as compiled for 2016. SC Spoiler alert: ("The top causes of death in Oregon are compiled from death certificates filed in the Oregon Vital Records office, known as the Center for Health Statistics.Hedberg said the latest data available is from 2016, as officials only have preliminary data for 2017")

Derby, the second-generation bat-retrieving golden retriever for the Trenton Thunder baseball team, died Saturday, the team announced. Derby made headlines nationwide and was featured by ESPN for entertaining crowds by grabbing bats at home plate during games. He was 20 days shy of his 10th birthday. The cause of death was cancer. The Cardinals Of The Roman Catholic Church
Sir Creep replied to Pagad Ultimo's topic in DeathList Forum
Sounds like the Lord has intervened in the Cardinal Pell affair. A man who publicly accused Cardinal George Pell of sexual abuse has died. Damian Dignan, from the Australian city of Ballarat, died on Saturday following a long illness. Cardinal Pell is on a leave of absence as Vatican treasurer to fight police charges in his native Australia. He has strongly and consistently denied any wrongdoing. Local media reported that Mr Dignan's death could affect court proceedings against the cardinal. SC
