Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?
Sir Creep replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Apparently the latest is in Sir Creep's backyard....one hour from my house, and SC with a 6-year old daughter.... Moss Bluff Primary School (near Lake Charles, LA) is on lockdown after a seven-year-old child was injured in a reported shooting in Louisiana today. The pupil at Moss Bluff Elementary in Lake Charles is being rushed to hospital in nearby Lafayette. SC -

Admittedly an EXTREME wildcard and 0.05 obit chance. But the points could be worth the risk, and feel-good stories do elevate chances threefold (making it 0.15% chance lol). I live in American and didn't realize there is a /professional lacrosse league, though it makes sense for the fringe sport participants. So how he will obit in the UK I do not know (thought this rings of Lauren Hill, to a much smaller scale), but with that said... Providence High lacrosse player Noah Hays is fighting a rare form of cancer. Saturday afternoon the (professional league) Charlotte Hounds signed him to a one day contract. Hays went through 52 weeks of chemo after his initial diagnosis. This past August he learned it was in remission only to find out in March that it had returned. SC

A teenager was beaten mercilessly by cow vigilantes in Ujjain on Saturday after he was allegedly found in possession of a cow tail. Police, however, said the attackers were not part of any cow vigilante groups (???!!??) or associated with saffron outfits. The 17-year-old boy was on his way to work when 8–10 people intercepted him near Gumandev temple and asked him where he had got the cow tail. When he couldn’t give a satisfactory reply, they beat him up mercilessly, with belts, fists and kicks, alleging that he was a cow killer, despite the boy asking them to spare him. SC

Actress and singer Jane Norman Beazley, 83, who for 17 years as “Pixanne” flew onto the stage of an “enchanted” TV forest -- and into the hearts of countless baby boomers -- died Saturday at her home in Bala Cynwyd. Pixanne was taped for its first five years in black and white but in 1965 was among the first shows of its kind in the region to go to color. At times the show attained an audience share of 62 percent, according to interviews she gave later, but in 1969 the station discontinued it. Only a few clips of the show survive. A much larger collection of tapes was destroyed in a warehouse fire. Its fame was perpetuated for many years, however, by a mishap that occurred when a visiting fireman lit a flaming hoop for a skit and then discovered he could not extinguish it. The incident proved very popular in “blooper” TV shows. Of course Sir Creep took time to find and provide YOU with the blooper video (Starts at 0:52). SC (EDIT: Wow....well THIS is a bit more than coincidental! Jane Beazley dies on Mother's Day, in the same city (Bala-Cynwyd, PA) as the creator of Mother's Day is buried!)

#21: A young girl has been bitten on the leg and back by an alligator while sitting in shallow water at a popular Florida park. The schoolgirl, 10, was with her family at Moss Park, in southeast Orange County, when she was attacked by an 8 or 9 foot alligator. She was in about two-feet-deep water in one of the lakes when the attack happened and her horrified family was close by. She had puncture wounds but I don’t think they’re life threatening. Shortly after the incident, officials were able to trap and kill the suspected alligator. SC

#20: The only elephant in the Lahore Zoo, Suzi, died on Saturday morning. Imported in 1988, Suzi was a popular attraction at the zoo and had captivated generations of audiences since its inception at the zoo. Officials at the zoo could not confirm a cause of death before the medical report was made available. In 2015 the Lahore Zoo lost the last of the 3 giraffes they imported a mere 8 years earlier (giraffes typically live 20-25 years in captivity). So no giraffes and no pachyderms. What the hell kinda zoo is that?! SC

I think I've heard enough of his ouvre to come to the conclusion that the music industry's touting Danger Mouse as some sort of messiah as a producer is pure and utter bullshit. He's ok, that's it; I can name at least a dozen better. Having DM involved in your project means it has financial backing, yes; but is no guarantee of success (in fact, quite the opposite). That's right, I said it. Fuck Danger Mouse. And for that matter, give the animated series back his name and leave it alone.,,,that was quality programming, that was. SirC

Some extremely upsetting news from the world of Major League Baseball: Korina Evaniuk, 22, the bird what pulled down and opened the V-neck of her Florida Marlins shirt to reveal much of her cleavage in an attempt to distract the opposing team's pitcher, has stated she will not do such a thing ever again. This is a tragedy. SC

Former Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael D. Jackson was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday morning. A report cites a confirmation from Louisiana State Police that Jackson, who turned 48 in April, was killed in the accident in Tangipahoa. Jackson was driving his 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle at a “high rate of speed” around 1 a.m. when a 20-year-old woman backed out of a parking spot and into the path of Jackson. He reportedly crashed into the woman’s driver-side door and killed her as well. The investigation into the crash continues. Jackson, who played eight seasons in the NFL, led the league in receiving touchdowns in 1996. The fantasy football part of me remembers him well, he was a good player to have for a few years. Oh well. RIP. SC -

#19: This evening a resident of Rolling View Dr discovered an uninvited quest in her garage. After a brief chase, involving local animal control and midnight shift officers, the subject, later identified as "Delilah" the donkey, was apprehended and brought back home. Apparently she had just decided to take a midnight stroll around the Connecticut neighborhood. SC

Yale Lary, a Lions defensive back, punter and return man who was one of the best football players of the 1950s, has died at the age of 86. A nine-time Pro Bowler, Lary was an important member of the Lions’ last three championship teams, in 1952, 1953 and 1957. He was a good one. RIP SC -
