The Adam Yauch Park in Brooklyn Heights was defaced with graffiti of swastikas and the words "Go Trump" on Friday (Nov. 18). Yauch, like the rest of his Beastie Boys bandmates, was Jewish. I picked on her for always promoting her cancer just before a new album release. But pancreatic cancer x2 sucks and she was performing into late July this year. And frankly I like what she and the Dap Kings put out, listenable enough. So in the end RIP. SC

May have just months to live http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-35746374 STOP IT. As I've explained with 100% accuracy, you are NOT to believe self-serving statements from inmates or their lawyers, particularly at sentencing hearings or otherwise. "The pensioner may not "have many more months to live," the lawyer added, asking for his sentence, due to be handed down at Woolwich Crown Court, to be adjourned." Of COURSE he was too ill to show up. f**k all. He isn't that ill. Neither is DiMasi, nor Marks, nor LStewart nor, etc etc etc etc. SC Judge approved Sal DiMasi's early release SC http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/11/17/sal-dimasi-prison-release-ruling/

University of Miami law professor M. Minnette Massey shattered the glass ceiling so many years ago — 1958 — that the familiar term was decades away from entering the popular vernacular. In that year, Massey was one of 14 women nationwide to crack the male-dominated world of law school professors. She joined the University of Miami faculty in 1958 after graduating from its law school in 1951 and earning her master’s in law from New York University. She would go on to become Dean of the law school. Massey, born May 5, 1927, in Stratford, Connecticut, won numerous awards, including the Center for Ethics and Public Service Lawyers in Leadership Award and the Law Alumni Association’s Thomas Davison III Memorial Service Award in 2004. She retired from UM in 2015 after 57 years. SC http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/obituaries/article115260328.html

He may not be on THIS list but since Y-Dub wants to resurrect deceased threads..... Melvin R. We definitely know her life expectancy, but please don't say that this is the life expectancy for ALL albino buffalo. She had 11 calves so now we get to see average life expectancy of offspring of a white bison with a 20-year lifespan. SC

Where's Ted Nugent at? Great White Buffalo.... White Cloud, a famous 20-year-old albino bison, has died, according to the National Bison Museum in North Dakota. Born on a ranch in 1996, the bison had 11 calves, including one white bison named Dakota Miracle. A bison can live in captivity on average 20 to 25 years. Because of White Cloud’s albinism, her life expectancy was unknown. I disagree. We fahkin know what it is: 20! SC http://www.ktvq.com/story/33726517/famous-north-dakota-albino-bison-white-cloud-dies

Just a wee update to the above list. Oh and to resurrect a thread to give Sir C apoplexy. The thread was created in 2005 -- no apoplexy here.
-
No not really, it's not going to give the least bit of an idea the obitability of anyone or anything about vague people. Hell you got threads for tv shows I've never heard of, and then mock me for posting about Sanford & Son which was as big a comedy tv show as anything over here. Google can't translate ''popularity". We are in the same boat. I wouldn't think you could obtain any grasp of American pop culture from merely googling, and neither can I about European pop culture. SC

Seriously though how would I ever be expected to have ever heard of this cat? It's virtually impossible and puts me at such a non-competive advantage with the QO sources I've already just about confirmed I'll be focusing on my own DP and just send a theme team and otherwise skip out of DDP, although it's a blast. I don't doubt this guy WAS on a lot of yall's lists. That's my point. He woulda been a good pick. SC

Please don't post her and legitimize this superfluous troll thread. We have African Despots and Political Frailty, either which would suffice. I'm begging the Admins to move this and delete ilthe header forthwith SirC

Really? HottyToddy? I'm guessing NottyDeady. There are a few totally unreputable links all citing hottytoddy and not one news source. Closest I get is this http://jazztimes.com/sections/news/articles/172684-mose-allison-dies-at-89 from Jazz Times who doesn't say the source and it may well be hottytoddy as well. Someone is Mose's stature won't be a secret for long if true. Giving it 3 hours to confirm, then calling hoax. SirC New York Times good enough for ya? http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/16/arts/music/mose-allison-a-font-of-jazz-and-blues-dies-at-89.html?_r=0 Sure. But before that my point was a good one. Any obit is accepted here - I'll be happy to repost a New York Times obit for you on Tony A. It's astonishing he got no press in the U.K. Anyway, whatever obit was posted for Tony on this website is good enough, we don't have rules like that here. I understand it's a U.K. page and all that but they really need to add the New York Times to their list of accepted sources. It's the epitome of recognition at death, moreso than any of the U.K. sources combined. SC
