Crowe was the medical necessity, but otherwise The Reaper has really been taking some - pardon the pun - dead weight off the ongoing DL regulars, FINALLY. Ages 97-95-95-94. I think he's found his sweet spot on the bat, as it were. Richard Adams. SC Edit: Further numerological proof who it may or may not be: The five deaths so far, if you add up the 'rank / last years rank / appearances' -- the last digits are all different. 3 (Crowe) 4 (Vigoda) 7 (Reagan) 8 (Boutras-Ghali) 9 (Michelmore). So it's not going to be ANYONE with those numbers. The Reaper is playing games in 2016. Only Sir Creep figured it out and foiled The Reaper's fun. Richard Adams is a 6.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous
Sir Creep replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Damn Gooseberry -- beat me to it! "Fringes of Fame' is all he gets I guess. Was kidnapped at 19, as you old fogies (a-hem) may recall. Article says Frank paid $240K for his release. SC -
Making it's way across facebook today.... too goddamn funny! (what's NOT funny is the link won't post the image, and there's nowhere for me to upload a photo from my desktop -- If wrong, point me to the above icon) http://www.dailydot.com/lol/ted-cruz-michael-sweet-stryper/?fb=dd

Trying to get outta prison on the tried and tested 'medical sympathy' method. "My client nearly died and is in poor health". Unlike the judges in other profile cases (e.g. Lynne Stewart), this judge is asking the attorney to bring some medical records to back up his claims. SC

Peggy Girshman, an Emmy Award-winning health-care journalist who co-founded the Washington-based news service Kaiser Health News in 2008 and helped build the nonprofit into a media organization of national scope, died March 14 at her home in Silver Spring, Md. She was 61. The cause was complications from amyloidosis, a condition of abnormal protein production and deposition in organs. SC

Me Telling Phantom To Kill Himself
Sir Creep replied to Dr. Zorders's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Aside from blaming your own idiocy on a browser glitch and the whole it would've been funny if you'd told it right the first time, yes. Although the whole furore has added to your post-count, which I'm sure is the primary aim/obsession, I've liked your eventual post which should help towards your secondary aim/obsession. That's not so. I DID fix the link in my O.P., but when I said I did, you clicked on the one in your response and it (apparently) doesn't update, so I could see that would be an overall problem, best to do a do-over. I'd prefer to delete and start anew and have '1' as my post count, but thanks to YOUR responding prior to my seeing the problem (which I was fixing when you posted), I couldn't just amend the O.P. and had to create a diatribe. So my intentions had/have nothing to do with a post count. However this additional response doesn't hurt. SC -
A former team doctor for the Houston Oilers (NFL) was killed late Tuesday when he crashed his collector porsche on S. Braeswood. Houston police say Dr. Robert Fain Jr., 67, was speeding in the older Porsche when he lost control and crashed. SC

So what you're saying is he never played in the World Cup? Spade -- actually I twitched a moment as I posted this...wondering if by 'U-20' that was outside the scope of this thread. Didn't care enough to actually read the obit, so letting the chips fall where they may. *shrugs* SC

Father Virgilio Elizondo, a well-known theologian, professor at the University of Notre Dame and former rector of San Fernando Cathedral, died Monday, according to several sources. The Bexar County (San Antonio) Medical Examiner’s Office verified his death late Monday night. Archdiocese of San Antonio officials did not return calls, nor did several other Catholic officials who knew Elizondo well. Widely considered the founder of U.S. Latino theology, Elizondo had been living under a cloud of suspicion after a lawsuit filed in Bexar County last May accused him of sexually abusing an unidentified boy more than 30 years ago. Sir Peter Maxwell-Davies was on MY list. He shoulda been on theirs. MISS. -
For my money, and as posted last year, only Nuon Chea 89, and Khieu Samphan 84, are obitable, and I'd say guaranteed. The others are shaky. Chea is on my Shadow List and in at least one other DP; 89 years old with a life sentence -- and prolly dozens on the inside who'd like to see him dead, I mean how long can the dude last? SC
