Beat me to Daniel Boone, RHP, but it was 195 years ago, not 95! Only other person I saw worth a mention was actor Richard Mulligan (15 years ago), and that barely. Did the show Soap ever make it to that side of the Pond? SC

The second was James R Messenger.I can assure you that you did pick Tickle as she is on your entry on my masterlist which was copied and pasted the day you submitted your team.Yeah sure I will add him to your entry on the masterlist. Right you are! Well similarly I'm throwing Norman Lear's name into the fray, and to my knowledge he's fit as a fiddle, but older, and like Ali I would be miffed if he passed and I got nothing for it. So it remains a bit of a punishment for unwittingly putting a deceased person's name on my list. SC

Jack Van Impe SirC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Shaun: Seems I had TWO people who were already dead on my list but Ms Watts is the only one I see, who am I missing? Also -- Sir Creep didn't even remember selecting Ms. Tickle, but there it is in black--well red--and white!! I wasn't going to replace Ms. Watts as punishment, but that seems remiss. If I may, I'd like to go WAYYY off the board and select as a replacement Mr. Muhammad Ali. I'd hate for him to pass away in the coming months and me get nothing for him altogether. I don't think he will perish any time soon so it remains a bit of a punishment for choosing a dead person in Ms. Watts. SC

A 10-METRE mistake by organisers nearly killed French free diving champion Guillaume Néry as he dived much deeper than expected. His guide line on the dive off Cyprus had been set to 139metres rather than the 129m world record depth he was aiming for and he blacked out and nearly drowned as he came to the surface. SC Here's a pretty bad-ass video of one of his more successful dives. Enjoy!

    Conspiracy Theories

Not sure how the U.K. made out yesterday when the asteroid hit the earth (as predicted), but here in Texas where I am it really wasn't that bad. SC (Edit: BUT WAIT! "There will still be a very huge chunk of this asteroid that will hit (most likely in the Atlantic Ocean). They believe this is the fulfillment of the 6th seal of Revelation that starts the “Day of the Lord”, the final day of Daniel’s 70th week, which will last for one year." Maybe THAT was the 'earthquake' and tsunami warnings a few days ago!!! IT WAS A TRUE PROPHECY!! The 6th Seal came a few days EARLY, that's all!)

Not exactly sure where to put this....but here is close enough. Connoisseurs of Southern comfort foods are mourning the death of the woman who ran Leatha's Bar-B-Que Inn here. Bonnie Jackson, 57, died Tuesday of a massive heart attack, a family member said. Leatha’s was featured on an episode of Man Food Fire on the Cooking Channel for the amazing ribs, and it is one of the stops on the Mississippi Culinary Trail on VisitMississippi.org. SC
