I see now you posted this, but as that you were so utterly lazy as to not find a proper thread (I love that subtitle, it's truly befitting) I am leaving mine in the Baseball thread. SC

Former major league pitcher Joaquin Andujar, who helped lead the St. Louis Cardinals to the 1982 World Series title, died Tuesday in the Dominican Republic after a long battle with diabetes. He was 62. He was on a few All-Star teams and was a pretty decent pitcher for a few years though his overall record doesn't quite indicate that. He's more famous for his World Series meltdown--typical Dominican hothead--from which his career never recovered. [i can't believe I had to go to page 8 to find this thread!] Tyler Sash, a former Giants safety who was on the Super Bowl XLVI winning team that beat the Patriots, died Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports. He was 27. The cause of death wasn't given and is 'under investigation'. Too young. SC http://nypost.com/2015/09/08/giants-super-bowl-winning-safety-tyler-sash-dead-at-27/

Do you think no one in America has heard of her or that no one will admit to knowing who she is? I would gladly admit to knowing her, even just having heard her name once. Sadly I cannot advance that claim. A despondent SC

The argument for NOT 'banning Guest's from posting' again if you could? Thanks in advance. SC

Reverend Jesse Jackson's mother, Helen Burns Jackson, has died. Age not given and seeing as this is fringes of fame, do we care? SC http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/09/07/mother-of-rev-jesse-jackson-dies/ -

Six more weeks and Crowe will push up daisies, as I predicted. And you'll be at ease again for another month. Put me down for US Thanksgiving Day for Carol Channing though she's not on DL. Just some lagniappe for you DLers. I will be giving thanks when she goes. SC

Great but who in the hell was he? Oh sure I could look....Was he the world's greatest Orville Reddenbacher impersonator? SC

No one in America has ever heard of Lara Roxx so the fact this site believes it's OBVIOUS that her name is synonymous enough with the 'porn industry' as to feel no need to mention 'the porn industry' anywhere in the byline is ridiculous. There that is off my chest. Former porn star Candida Royalle, regarded as a pioneer for her work in front of and behind the camera, has died after battling ovarian cancer. She was 64. The actress -- whose real name is Candice Vadala -- performed in more than two dozen adult films, but was best known for her work as a director, a first in the male-dominated industry. Wow I'd heard of two of those people. Shall I presume Laugh-In wasn't on the telly in the UK? Would it have been the first five names on that list would be household names, or the previous poster's comment was unique to their household. SC

Proper way for a rapper to go out: Strip club shooting. I've NEVER been to the Crazy Horse Saloon either. A-hem. Rapper Dex Osama was shot and killed early Monday morning at a Detroit strip club, according to news and blog reports. The up-and-coming Detroit rapper had recently been signed to a recording deal by Meek Mill. Presuming this is true, stunning there isn't a link to it anywhere. Sha Na Na only played WOODSTOCK for Christ sake and had a TV show. Wikipedia entry on the band merely mentions he died on 9-5-15 with no citation. That would make it two days ago----and nothing?!?? His personal Wikipedia entry says he died on 9-6-2015 (the next day) again no citation. A search of Dayton Law School's webpage doesn't even say they lost an active member of their faculty.OK--it's the Labor Day holiday weekend here, and many people off till tomorrow. But still.... SC

Sir Creep replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'm about to enter the only remaining theatre open in Lafayette Louisiana. As you recall we had two females murdered and many injured by a gunman in our other theatre, which remains totally closed a month later. If I quit posting, you'll know why. SC -
That's a pretty big series in the industry. Surprised it's so far under the radar. RIP SC

Oh, he's going into our end of year "limbo of the lost" radio show, then. "Our" ?? Sorry, myself and the other guy who alternates our show. I'll post a link when it goes out in December I'd like that tremendously. My cousin hosts a radio show broadcasting from Galashiels. http://td1radio.com/thegrayarea/ It's quite different than anything else I have heard so I listen intently. SirC
