I'll take you up on that bet there Mikey. You've been poor before and you've been knocked down before. You're not in prison just now and even if you had won that fight in Louisville, it wouldn't have made much of a dent in your ($40million?) tax bill. You'll never be world champ again, but I don't see you as the quitting type. That's not to say that you won't wind up dead in the next few years, I just don't see it being deliberately self-inflicted.

A Freudian slip there? Thinking about Ms. Windsor's primary assets?

Ms Ash may look as rough as rats but she's nowhere near 70 - she's only about 44. Perhaps you're getting her confused with Leslie Judd (57), Leslie Phillips (80) or Leslie Nielsen (78).

It's too easy. They're even writing the headlines for us... Franc Roddam, creator and executive producer of the hit show, added: "This really is Auf Wiedersehen, Pat." [scotsman]

According to the Scotsman on Sunday: Tributes last night flooded in for the star, who was revealed to be fighting cancer in January this year. The cast and crew of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, currently filming a two-part special in Thailand, said: "We are completely heartbroken and our hearts and condolences go out to Pat’s family." Do you think they each said it individually, or all in unison to save time?

Gosh, what a super tirade. I hope you feel better for that, Mr Fcuker. By the way, are you a walking endorsement for French Connection UK products? How much do they pay? I could use a bit of extra cash and wouldn't really mind changing my name. And there was me thinking that everyone was going to blame the referee (silly man - choosing not to turn a blind eye to John Terry slapping his arm into the goalkeeper's face) or the groundsman.

Yikes! I followed the link provided by Mr Beatle and checked out the picture. Somewhat surprised to see that it's the one on the left that's been dodging the meals & decided to have a lie down, because it's the other one who looks like a warmed up corpse. If things don't improve, maybe they could apply for next year's list as a double-act. And they're worth $215 million each. You'd think they could splash out for a couple of hamburgers once in a while, wouldn't you? Cheapskates.

A word of caution about sticking Monty in the 2005 melting-pot, just because he's got MS... It's not fatal. Or so President Jed Bartlet would have us believe. (And yes I know that "The West Wing" is only a TV show, but I choose to believe it's true because that's better than thinking about who's really in the White House) The fact that he's had it since 1999 and not popped his clogs yet, should be another indictor too.

It's a somewhat tenuous link, but let's clutch at a flimsy straw of optimism. Apparently, suicide rates on Teesside are some of the highest in the country with three quarters of victims being men. (As reported by ic Teesside - Health Today) and the good news is that the midget conjuror is from South Bank in Middlesbrough. The bad news of course is that he isn't there any more, nor likely to ever return lest they beat seven shades of crap out of him.
