Guardian Obit for actress Jennifer Piercey, who appeared (I believe) as the character Claire Scott's mother in Grange Hill: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2022/may/01/jennifer-piercey-obituary Probably better known as Nick Lyndhurt's mother in The Two Of Us, but a fair old acting career and yet another 2022 Peter Bowles connected death.

A quick glance at the IMDB entry for Allan Foenander, born 1929, casting director uncredited on Live And Let Die, but credited on Shirley Valentine and Wild Geese II, might lead you think he was still alive. His bio says he died last year, but his main entry has not been amended. Wonder why that would be. Official confirmation of his death here: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4052713 Died at Denville Hall.

Admittedly, Mark Williams is getting his arse handed to him. There may only be one of that class in the final. Come on Johnny Higgins!

Song of 2022 for me is Italy. I think it is probably not possible for them to win twice in a row, but hey, their song is a cracker. Only one gave me the feels. UK have drawn a direct line from Sgt Pepper through ELO, thrown in some Oasis and funked it up. Best position in years imo.

Lovely. Raiola's death if not confirmed could be the most widely reported death that hasn't happened this century. And no, never heard of him.

Winning is for winners I say. One year I broke my own rules and I went for the imminently ill, sickly etc etc. The vast majority of whom live to this day. I just play people who I would not miss or would miss terribly. And that I've heard of. The hell with the position, as long as I give some interesting punts. Best place for main team - 58th. Even that shocked me.

With that walking stick and Shakira, those hips ain't spry....

I'd be too old to see her in Grange Hill. Ever Decreasing Circles - think I saw two minutes of it once and decided it was shite. Oldwillz used to watch it though.

In a faith based movie, he slams Hollywood for its lack of morals: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10756035/Actor-Pat-Boone-slams-Hollywood-making-immoral-movies-like-animated-Netflix-series-Big-Mouth.html Apparently he says in the 50s and 60s entertainment was showing America in its best light. Come on Pat, you weren't even making the best music in the 50s and 60s. Anyway he's well enough to rage at the world, so...

Applies for permission for a rehab wing alteration at his mansion: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10746757/Ozzy-Osbourne-applies-rehab-wing-UK-mansion-battling-Parkinsons-disease.html End of the article quotes a spokesman that Ozzy is preparing for an operation on his neck or back...suitably vague.
