Mickey Dolenz responds to the news: "Hey Hey I'm The Monkee". Sorry couldn't resist.

Any chance of Tippexing that out? Jeezus, I was a fan of his woolly hat and his total seeing lack of interest in the latter stages of the show!

Your manager has been a little distracted lately but I don't get bereavement leave. Danish goalie Hogh has seen his Lars day. CalebH kept him on the subs bench, safely unique, and draws 7 Clubs for 7 added points. Leaderboard updated.

Knighted business executive Sir Christopher Hogg death notice: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/253983/hogg-sir-christopher Yeah, it's all blah blah blah, Chief Exec of Courtaulds, non-exec director of the Bank of England, former Chair of Reuters Group, YAWN!! What is important however is that his wife is Miriam Stoppard, or should I say Miriam, Lady Hogg, doctor, author, presenter and born 1937 so getting up there in possible selection.

I'm just old enough to remember Vintners and my first bar Squires. Glasgow's heyday was Club X on Royal Exchange Square - I still remember the best nights out there, killed essentially by the city centre curfew brought in mid-90s. There were also the waterfront bar The Drawing Room and the club Panama Jax where I'd often bump into Steve Bronski. I know this probably makes me out to be a complete alchoholic, but this was over an extended period of time!! My clubbing days are long gone, but there's still the occasional afternoon in town. Only a few local celebs I know now.

Here is good also. I'm still trying to remain upbeat. Think I'll search for a karaoke version of

Lina Wertmuller QO: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/ap/article-10292731/Wertmueller-1st-woman-nominated-directing-Oscar-dies.html And don't forget Bertram Bowyer who already has a Telegraph obit.

Ah a thread and my flippancy again! Obvs not being serious - we need a Colbert type YouTube channel for the UK to let it all out. Only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. I'm sure the subject of this thread would appreciate the quote.

BBC have reported it: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59592187 Looks my emails worked. I remain devastated, only 60. I suspect the worst, of course. RIP big man, those nights in Panama Jax will long be remembered.

How’s Your 2022 Shortlist going?
YoungWillz replied to The Old Crem's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I've had more people die off my main team entry than I have on my 2021 entry (all teams) all year! Maybe I should have gone down the unique picks route rather than populist. Just waiting on the next faller tbh. -

Boris announces a legitimate child this time. But in light of recent lies......can we trust this announcement? What if it is the spawn of Satan, which shall swallow the Earth in an apocalyptic revelation scenario? Or a new Boris variant?

Ralph Tavares of the hit group Tavares with hits in the 70s and 80s has died: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/breaking-ralph-tavares-dead-heaven-25652863 He was 80 and as early as 1984 had left the band. At this rate, it'll be a simple job. By then you might just have Madonna and three-quarters of Culture Club and Bucks Fizz.

Steve Bronski apparently died on 7 December 2021 from Twitter posts. List of the Missed @msc, I think it may have been last year I picked him? He'd gone missing and I suspected the worst but he survived 2020.

Well, there goes my Joker on my main team. PM coming in @Grim Up North.
