Oh no! Ha, unlikely trio for me back in the day. I ain't telling anyway, only a one nighter before they moved on to the next gig.
-
Lucky! I've slept with a very famous pop star - still alive. So maybe that's why my picks tend to outlive their appearances on my lists! Ha!

You'd think so. Very much a journeyman with the band though. Saxa had an amazing record with many acts in his time and only made Other Lives. Roger died relatively young and as co-frontman there was plenty to say. Other band members went on with Fine Young Cannibals so would get coverage. But there's no denying The Beat were huge in the US as well as here and as fairly relative pioneers of the Ska/Two Tone outbreak in the late 70s, we can but hope. So many big deaths happening, this news this late on a Friday night might lead to a bit of a wait.

Budge Patty serves up a unique hit for Torva Messor, unfortunately it's not an ace: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/ap/article-10074351/Budge-Patty-1950-Wimbledon-Roland-Garros-champ-dies-97.html Shuffles up from just inside the baseline. No bonuses, leaderboard updated.

Official The Beat confirmation re Everett Morton: So an update needed for the UK Singles thread.

Seemingly a reference to a FB post, Everett Morton of The Beat has apparently died: Saxa, Ranking Roger and Everett Morton all gone if true. Shocking.

Rick Jones, either a pick or a sub for me last year or the year before, Yoffy from Fingerbobs, reportedly dead: My first real TV hero. I can't tell you how sad I am to hear this. RIP. IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0429120/ -
It will come at an unfortunate time for the Government though. They will hang on I'd say, after all the hardest hit at the moment are the red wall seats in the North. Imagine...a North South divide under the Conservatives...an absolute shock.... Lose this and Boris may have to go....ah the dreams...
