Bleeding out on top of a Trump flag, by the looks of the video. Well, if you are a cult member, be prepared to be sold out by your cult leader. Glass of punch anyone?

If there were majority black faces, the shooting would already have started.... Anyone have a Rep/Senator etc in their DDP? This could be your moment....

Capitol attacked and breached. Votes suspended. It's like watching a banana republic.

Who will win the 2020 US Presidential Election?

The sickening sight of Trump supporters taking their last opportunity to object to the count of the Electoral College. If there was some goddamn evidence, the Courts would have sorted this out, an order could be produced to the Congress and a valid objection made. This on the other hand is an abortion of process, objection without evidence, order or anything else. -
Richard Sharp former Goldman Sachs banker appointed BBC Chair. Sounds like a Blibberwimble/Sunak toady. Forget any further investigative journalism against the Tory Government. Might as well have appointed Rupert Murdoch.

A strapline referring to an old advert. "Michel: PAPA!" (Yes I know it was Nicole, poetic licence!). Or "In Roux-ed Health."

Andre Romelle Young, rapper, aka Dr Dre, you know, just for search purposes. Because we will never find this otherwise.

Never Say Never Again! (Think we've used up all the Bond Title puns on this death alone!) -

Australia's oldest person Mabel Crosby seems to have died 29 December 2020: https://the110club.com/mabel-crosby-1909-2020-t24670.html Now seems to be being reported behind various paywalls of newspapers in Australia. Just in case she was picked for this year.

Al B Sure!, new jack swing singer who knocked around the lower reaches of the UK charts in the late 1980s, seems to be in a bad way: https://eurweb.com/2021/01/04/al-b-sure-shares-health-update-after-being-told-he-had-months-to-live-video/

As a constituent in the area and eligible to vote, Labour would not be a shock take for Rutherglen. It has see sawed, Labour regaining from the SNP in 2017 and losing again in 2019. Labour's vote is remarkably consistent, SNP voters have to get out to vote. There are parts of the constituency which are either Hard Tory or Hard LibDem, but both are so small as to make both also-rans in UK Parliament elections. It won't be COVID or Ferrier's trip that decides it though, if it were to take place.

I'm laughing so hard..... Can it be....she's alive? -
Metro report her agent saying she had recovered from COVID, it was underlying issues. I'm assuming that's the aforementioned stroke and complications from that. RIP.
-
Never hold a Mirror up to The Sun.
-
She was 88 admittedly, but it looks like the COVID got Barbara Shelley: Dunno if she was picked this year, but it looks like at least Handy picked her in previous years for the DDP.
-
All over Twitter that Barbara Shelley, Hammer scream queen, has died. Awaiting reports, of course. And the usual honourable mention - was in Doctor Who.
-
That is a shock. Obviously I remember him most from Scum. Powerful piece of acting from a young actor.

Yes it can't be any fun doing it one-handed.... Then there is the inevitable *shit, one of my picks died, I need a sub* moments all while tabulating the teams. I have said before, awesome job, I only know TMIB, Spade and now the current Committee have done a spectacular job and accept sorting out issues with immense good humour and grace. Once the big old hump of "going live" is over, hopefully it runs itself. Gawd bless you, every one.

Bad luck Gooseberry Crumble! A right kick in the balls for me, but a hit is a hit. Means my TOTP team has had a hit every year entered. The year is young mind....

If I am right, Gerry And The Pacemakers were in Hamburg for early 1961 at the Top Ten Club, and in mid 1961 The Beatles headed there, sometime recording My Bonnie with Tony Sheridan, while Gerry et al headed back to Liverpool. They were back playing the Cavern and Litherland Town Hall with Gerry and the Pacemakers definitely until late 1961 (even swapping stage outfits and forming a "supergroup") but Epstein didn't see them until November 1961. I don't believe they ventured as far as Weston Super Mare that year. But I'll bow to folk who were actually there, of course.
