KC & The Sunshine Band. Jeanette Williams appears to be the recently deceased Betty Wright's sister. There's some family information on Wright's Wiki page which I have linked to, so probably born Jeanette Norris in Miami, FL. Seems to be now married to someone called Black and named latterly Jeanette Wright-Black. The KC connection all ties in with Betty Wright's involvement with the TK Studios in Miami and the tributes from KC on Betty's death. Ken Faulk - he's bloody everywhere, on records by the Bee Gees, Dionne Warwick, Dr John, blah blah blah. Can't find any origin information, though I'm guessing out of Miami, rateyourmusic has him as Kenneth William Faulk. Anyway, according to this article from last year, he was still alive and playing the Portland Jazz Festival: https://jazztimes.com/archives/portland-jazz-festival-a-celebration-of-ecm-36/ Margaret Reynolds - seems to have released some records under her own name with the assistance of KC in the early 80s - still looking but it's not looking great for bio information.

Posted an hour ago and no-one spotted it's headed "J" rather than "K"?

You know, in the old days, folk would say summat like "PM is dead, who will implement the policies? Will there be a change in direction of the country? Will we have continuity? What will be the impact on the Stock Exchange and the currency markets?" This no longer applies. It's all "Which personality profile will take over?" And that's simply because for thirty years we've had Government without grand vision, without direction. Simply an island with a proud naval tradition, subsumed into a land of navel gazing. Anyway, disaster it ain't, whether left or right.

DQ on "not a disaster" grounds....
