    The Deathlist Poker Tournament 2020

Well, that's the point really, it's not a question of getting in early or late. It's up to the players to decide when they submit a team. It's not an encouragement to get in early or leave it to the last minute, because who knows what the cards will hold. It's a bonus for all players. Could you be lucky and get 6 Aces in the monthly draws? Unlikely. But it might be an indication of which position you submit your team has the luck of the bonus. Remember, this could swing it in a close match. It's a bit of fun that makes sure everyone is playing by 31 July.

Ok, for the Roulette, the random cards are all drawn in one go. Say there are 5 teams (as there are at present). I would draw 5 cards together (not including Jokers obvs) from Random.org, not one by one. Those card values would be allocated in the order they came out to the teams playing in the order they were submitted to the game. Now, there are a limited number of Kings, Aces, etc (4 values, 1 for each suit). This becomes more important with a larger number of teams. So say your team is #15, but all the aces are drawn for positions 2, 7, 9 and 12. You cannot get the maximum number of points because you cannot draw an Ace. I mean, it will become clear as we play and it will be completely random so keeping the spirit of the game.

Bombers. Only be of help here with one name, and then only if two sources have got it very wrong. Mack L Jones also appears to be Busta Jones who later toured with Talking Heads. If that's him as it appears to be from these sources, he's dead: http://www.canuckistanmusic.com/index.php?maid=352 and https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=DykffzkFALoC&pg=PA319&lpg=PA319&dq=busta+jones+bombers&source=bl&ots=6zAOKCyoWU&sig=ACfU3U1I9DTudVW7zm_RfH8PBVdUONyPLw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjCm8Xh1ebpAhU6VBUIHTCMDxYQ6AEwC3oECAcQAQ#v=onepage&q=busta jones bombers&f=false

Hmm, generally I think Brian Burke was on the release, but Parrott takes a damn load of credit - not surprising, seeing as how he sunk all his money into it. I wonder if they paid Burke off? Anyway, surely there's a marriage registration for a Michael Coleman and a Dheveranee something or other? Or maybe Dheveranee Coleman throws up something from GRO? Number One in the charts and we are scrabbling around in the dirt for information. UK, ok? *sigh*

Brian and Michael. First question is - did Kevin Parrot re-record the song with Mick Coleman, before it went out? Apparently not, so Brian Burke bogs off to settle down and I'm assuming gets a performer's royalty on a song he never promoted. There's a ton of information on Mick Coleman though: https://www.questmedianetwork.co.uk/news/tameside-reporter/nostalgia-chart-topping-lowry-tribute-in-1978/ https://www.tate.org.uk/art/artists/l-s-lowry-1533/lowry-painted-my-life-so-i-sang-about-his https://www.messengernewspapers.co.uk/news/whereyoulive/10346658.brian-and-michael-make-their-return-in-urmston/ Most recently is this from April 2020: http://www.tamesidecorrespondent.co.uk/2020/04/17/musician-mick-coleman-puts-admiration-for-nhs-into-song-by-re-working-matchstalk-men-hit/ Now that says he is 74 and resident in Gee Cross. He has a daughter Tamlah, a wife Dheveranee and a brother Tim Coleman with whom he performs. If that doesn't get you somewhere, there's no hope. I haven't looked into Kevin Parrott.

Brass Construction. Ah, those Jamaicans again! All I can do is dance round with the hope that this information leads you somewhere. Firstly, it's Wade Williamston (not Williamson). Seems to be a founder member and there is an article here which narrows down the area of formation to Brownsville, Brooklyn: https://worldradiohistory.com/Archive-Record-World/70s/76/RW-1976-04-24.pdf Wayne Parris - Now this may be sheer coincidence, but here is an obituary for Norman Parris: https://www.allensummerhillfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Norman-Parris2/#!/Obituary who died back in 2013, but which references a younger brother called Wayne - trumpeter and musician! Now there's plenty of family information there if the deceased was in fact his older brother. As for the others, I am lost.
