I mean, Steve Blackmore is dead: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/52573066

Atkinson is NOT a miss for me, their 1984 debut single only reached #41. I will have to remove Atkinson for consideration from my 1987 list.

BBC have it now: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-52564281?intlink_from_url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment_and_arts&link_location=live-reporting-story I'll point out he's List of the Missed as I picked him in 2018 for the DDP. I'll also point out he's a miss for my TOTP team, as Tour De France hit #24 in the UK charts in September 1984. Two misses in 3 days!

Some silly rumours that Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk has died. Let's see if that firms up to an actual report.....

My team was withdrawn ages ago.

If The Sun says he's dead, that's good enough for the DDP: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11559593/beat-poet-michael-mcclure-dead/

Doesn't really matter now Joey, but thanks for watching! I have applied the appropriate "there's got to be fucking consequences sometime" rule.

Well, Dave Greenfield goes before Jet Black? Who would have thought it? He is unsurprisingly a miss for my TOTP theme team. Guess I had better place their 1984 #15 hit Skin Deep up to flagellate myself over it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqd9oWSqWIE

Lord Rockingham's XI. Kenny Packwood. I found an article here which indicates Kenny was from Norwich and was 16 in 1958: https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/what-s-on/poignant-last-visit-to-norfolk-by-rock-n-roll-legend-billy-fury-1-3593377 I also found this post from Vince Eager on Facebook which ties the same Kenny Packwood to Lord Rockingham's XI, and which also, I'm afraid, indicates that Kenny Packwood is dead: What surprises me more is that Vince Eager is still alive! Anyhow, it's very late and I'm off to bed. I'll look anew at the various bands tomorrow when I can.
