A new show called Mary Kills People which only just begun airing in Canada 25/01/17 features Joan Gregson in it. the production company has tweeted about her, although that doesn't really give a definitive answer. I would suspect, however, since she is currently in a production so recent, if she had died there would have been some sort of tweet from the production company offering condolences or something of the sort. Also, if that was her in that clip then she looks bloody good for 88. Cheers I doubted it was her anyway. Got a shock when I saw the obit though...

Lost the appeal on the travel ban. Still stating he wants to keep the residents of America safe. Do that. Take away the right to bear arms from crazies. Trump's position on the Second Amendment: sacrosanct. He's not at war with the establishment...he's at war with everyone.

Don't know if this: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/thetimes-uk/obituary.aspx?n=joan-gregson&pid=184089114&fhid=34155 Relates to her: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0339991/ I'm sure there would be more than the simplest of obits for her, but anyone know better?

Cheers, that sets that to rest then. Amazed there has been so little mention of her passing.

Who Do You Consider "famous For Being Ill"?
YoungWillz replied to msc's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Ban: People who are just ill. People who are brought to the attention of the public by becoming ill. People who fundraise/do charity work after becoming ill. People who become authors or receive rolling coverage of their illness. Or anything else arising out of their illness. Even if they receive an honour for doing it. That would have killed off Aikman, Cafferkey, Loughlin, Sims etc etc. Notability should be in the eye of the game runner. Reality stars qualify just, provided they are not on a reality show because they are ill. People who pick folk of any achievement, however minor, are being swamped by regular readers of the Mirror cancer page/gofund me. And before the cry goes up "they are risky, they might not obit", that's simply not enough. Tuppence. -
Tbh, I was getting a bit worried. Good to know we still have you, RA!

I disagree. Very old people are admired, feted, the subject of curiosity at their longevity and interviewed for their memories of historical events. I'm thinking this discussion in many years time will not be famous for being ill but famous for being famous (see Tara Palmer-Tompkinson). -

This has become news again. I've always hated them, especially since they moved into the cities from the shores. Meantime, I've just seen a wummin on Reporting Scotland from Largs Community Council relating a story about a gull taking a chip right out of the hand of her 18 month old relative. Excuse me? Chips to an 18 month old? The gulls should swoop down upon this wummin and give her a good seeing to... (and yes I'm upset, even if it did happen in Scotland...)
