Guess the date of the next UK General Election Sweepstake!
YoungWillz replied to Sly Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Maybe Boris is on holiday until September. Anyhow, he knows he going to be fisted by the electorate in any event. -
Killed OldWillz in 3 months. But by the time he stopped screaming every time he went to the loo and sought treatment, it had metastasised. However, some can, with treatment and medication, last years. I know a bloke who's still around 9 years after diagnosis.

How about this record from Clodagh Rodgers? (Presenters/Sitcom/Pop Stars/Eurovison thread qualifier).
-
Well, take for example, Dame Judi Dench. I can see her in the Mollie Sugden thread, the Bond thread, the Character actors thread, the Dead of XXXX thread and possibly a few more. (Didn't she rap as well, which qualifies her for the rappers thread?). It's all personal preference, I like to draw attention to what I know them best for, or if there is some interesting nugget on a thread where the death has already been mentioned elsewhere. But I will only cross-post once.

Be easier if they just filed them all under B. For Book.

I cannot be arsed with all that cross-posting, unless it is to another category of which I am fond. Nothing to stop someone (and I'm thinking of certain Forum users) obsessively taking on the role of cross-poster. It would certainly clutter up the old search engine however.

Maybe it was D for Dead. I see according to Wiki that all of Daphne's kids seem to be alive. Is that the case?
-
I decided to go for the Singles Chart thread, where he was mentioned and because I found a karaoke version of Early In The Morning to sing along to.

I'm going to use "supostamente morto" in posts in the future, ha!

Oldest Living football league players
YoungWillz replied to Octopus of Odstock's topic in DeathList Forum
Former Wolves and West Brom player Gerry Summers reportedly dead: https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2024/03/14/former-west-brom-player-and-wolves-and-walsall-coach-gerry-summers-dies/ Also reportedly West Brom's oldest (then) living former player, so I don't know how that affects @Octopus of Odstock's lists. Although he reported dead on Wiki, he is still currently listed as a living person! -

This is an ad on my timeline: While folk can barely make ends meet, this is symptomatic of the wealthy disconnect that says avoid paying tax. You know, the tax that would pay for better schools, hospitals, slash waiting lists, install decent border controls and defend the nation against foreign warmongers. -

Adventure and war novelist Brian Callison died 5 February 2024 according to this Scotsman Obit: https://www.scotsman.com/news/people/scotsman-obituaries-brian-callison-author-of-acclaimed-adventure-novels-4552795 Some of his works were highly praised by Alastair MacLean and Dick Francis. And hey, at time of writing, his Wiki remains showing him as alive.

Well she left the Big Brother house last night. Voluntarily I may add, she was only a lodger after all. You could cut logs on her sharp chin and probably on her sharp tongue. She's all there, bit slow or considered with her responses to questions. Missing Ozzy obvs, who she must have felt comfortable leaving him as Kelly was there to greet Sharon on her departure. Still, no juicy gossip on why she's so thin. If only Eugenia Cooney had gone in the house - the housemates could have lit a fire by rubbing her and Sharon together.

Consort immortalised as a Barbie doll. The ultimate accolade. And Mattel's perfect gift for the deadpooler who believes in voodoo and has a sewing basket handy.
