Ian Mearns, Labour Gateshead MP will be stepping down at the next election. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp9weyvevvjo New constituency being formed. -
So for completeness here. Two Who alumni dead. Stuart Organ was in Dragonfire. John Savident was basically in the best of television, but he had a memorable turn as The Squire in The Visitation (one of my favourites). But let's not forget his roles in The Avengers and Blake's 7. Edit: Oh and A Clockwork Orange for film.

Probably most famous for replacing Peter Frampton in Humble Pie, but his turn with Strange Brew as well. Google/Wiki is your friend.

Mr Robson. Past couple of years not kind to former headteachers of the Hill. Sad news. RIP.

Rear Admiral James Carine death notice: https://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/marketplace/advert/carine-notices_55924 Thought @Ulitzer95 might like to know, he's Wiki mentioned here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supply_officers_in_the_Royal_Navy_who_have_reached_flag_rank I'm sure that page could do with some general updating.

That link takes you to the first page of this thread. So, another link?

No Billy Preston, but sad news nonethless. RIP.

What Sunak doesn't talk about. The cost of living. Knife crime. Crumbling schools and hospitals. Climate change. Productivity. Growth. His and his wife's personal wealth accrued from his policies. His disappearing majority. His focus is on politics while accusing the other side of playing politics and potholes. Oh and meeting the Monarch, who Sunak is richer than. -
Nora The Piano Cat, famous for her purrfect ability to put paws to keyboard and a YouTube viral sensation apparently, reportedly dead: https://6abc.com/nora-the-piano-cat-internet-viral-star/14456460/

Lacrosse is the true national sport of North America. Nevertheless, silly.
-
This kind of death wants me to petition once again for the restoration of the Silly Sports thread to the main Forum.

Found the full obit: https://www.callahanandhughes.com/obituary/helen-corey Quite the political activist.

Report of the death of Welsh player Phil Obbard, back in the 1970s and apparently not worthy of a Wiki page despite being a runner up in the World Masters to John Lowe in 1976:

Why is he still here? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-13113193/Michael-Rosen-survivor-s-guilt-Covid-Why-I-here.html A question DDP teams who picked him are asking also.

Cole Claire who worked for Helix and Cockyboys, reportedly dead aged 29 from kidney failure: https://meanshappy.com/gay-porn-star-cole-claire-has-died/ I'd say like most gay porn stars, there will be no coverage in the mainstream press. Unlike Kagney in lacies.

I know little about football but that Wolves team was tremendous.

I knew I knew the name. He was the postal guy who delivers a letter to Marty McFly in Back To The Future II.
