So they ignored my suggestion of Sharon for the name. Princess Shaz has a good ring to it...well I thought so anyway. Is that not already taken by Charles on fetish night?

    That Portillo Moment

^^ Nah we were never close, MPFC! I ended up active in the Students' Union and then my career, he obviously went off to his career and then politics. Should have seen him back in the day though, you would never recognise the guy you see today. He was extremely nice really, but as a politician I would suggest he's much more of a strategist and manipulator than a leader etc. If the Edstone was his idea, that's a faux pas too far!

    Wishful Thinking Death List

Not really a wisher, but Kenya's deputy president, William Ruto should slide into a swamp somewhere. For saying this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3066994/No-room-gays-Kenya-says-deputy-president.html So why on the same day is it reported that the US giving $45 million to Kenya to help with their refugee crisis? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/ap/article-3066989/Kerry-honors-victims-Kenya-talks-focus-al-Shabaab.html

    Crew Of USS Enterprise

I've stuck with main cast rather than recurring characters (otherwise we end up with eternal lists) though I'm sorely tempted to add Dwight to the TNG list. So I will. But I think other recurring characters like Worf's son, Deanna Troi's mother (well she's dead), Colm Meaney as Miles O'Brien and Q can be talked about more generally in context of the main cast. BTW, TNG was my favourite, somehow it appealed to me better than the rest.

Ha ha Bibliogryphon, not at all, not at all. Happy to do lists for DS9 and Voyager if you'd like. (Now I'll look a proper Charles Windsor Mountbatten for being over cautious).

    Crew Of USS Enterprise

Now you have upset all us OCD people by doing Enterprise before DS9 and Voyager. Ah, but they weren't Crew on the USS Enterprise, they were on Deep Space Nine and USS Voyager. I thought if I had done, the folks would have said "not crew".

    That Portillo Moment

I thought that the other Alexander (the Danny variety) is the one most likely to get creamed. One omission from the list is Jeremy Hunt where the Lib Dem candidate has suspended their campaign to support the NHS candidate. Hmm, that would be a Portillo Moment indeed! Hunt got 59% of the vote last time, though, I really couldn't include him. But any and all additions and contenders are welcome and will qualify for the final round-up after the people have their say. The Portillo moment with DOUGLAS Alexander will doubtless be given some strength by the fact he'll be beaten by a 20 year old. Fun Fact: I was at University with Douglas in the same class.
