    The 10Th Death Of 2015

I've gone for Crowe, purely because I speaking to a cricket mad old gentleman in the pub I work in and apparently Crowe played for my local cricket club years ago, Pudsey St. Lawrence. That and the fact his condition seems to have taken a nosedive from what I've read.

    Zsa Zsa Gabor

Well, 98 is Zsa Zsa's chronological age. That is what we get when subtracting 2015 with 1917. However, her biological age is probably a lot lower. People's bodies age at different rates, so she might be the equivalent of an "average" 78-year old's body. Biological age can't be easily determined or calculated as an exact science, though maybe biomarkers might help us with that in the future. Since at least one of her parents lived to be 100+, she likely inherited a disposition for longevity through her genes rather than living long because of attitude/lifestyle/luck. Her sisters, Magda and Eva, both died in their 80s. Did they inherit the same good genetics? Well, their lives were fairly long, but I'd say that Zsa Zsa was the one who lucked out the most. Sometimes, certain genetic traits can skip generations, and Eva Gabor's hypothetical daughter could've inherited Jolie's genes too. So, basically, it is possible for Zsa Zsa to have been a vegetable for this long if her body had aged slower than most of her contemporaries when her health problems began. I wonder if they worked out her biological age by looking at the rings when they cut her leg off. I don't think that would get to the root of the problem. It's a barking mad suggestion, apologies.

    The Chequered Flag

The way I look at it is that Jules is the first driver to die from injuries sustained during a Grand Prix race. Maria De Villota Died as a long term result of an injury she suffered during a straight line speed test which was not linked to a Grand Prix weekend in any way, so I don't really count that. What about the three marshalls who died in Monza '00, Melbourne '01 and Montreal '13 (must be something with the letter M...). Would Graham Hill be counted because he died in a plane crash after he retired? I suppose Colin McRae could also be a point of interest, he hadn't (officially) retired by the time he died. I am absolutely gutted about Bianchi, but as an F1 fanatic and only being 23, I was too young to know who Senna was and what he did at the time so for me, to see a driver to lose his life after taking part in the sport I love is pretty heartbreaking. The current safety levels are exceptional, I will never fall out of love with the sport because we've lost a talented driver because I know that every time those guys get into their cars there is always a chance they will never get out of them alive again and that is why I respect them so much (apart from Vettel, because he's a w***er).

I assume he would be classified as he received the injuries that would more than likely lead to his death during a Grand Prix. British Driver John Taylor died 4 weeks after a crash at the 1966 German Grand Prix due to burns. Not as long as Jules, but similar sort of case.

Well it won't be here legs, am I right in thinking that she's had one amputated? From what I've read on here and the reports, she's essentially just a cabbage now. I'd put her out of her misery personally, but I'm pretty sure the ramifications would be less than enjoyable.

Any updates on the old girl? Surely she can't far off from kicking the bucket.

New Here And Just Saying Hello

Like my mum always used to say when I wanted something all the other kids already had 20 of - you'll have to wait til Christmas. (No violin music please) Deadpools work by the year, you have to sign up at the end of year with who you think will die in 2016, etc. So the cutoff for sending names in is usually Dec. 31. The main one around here is the Derby Dead Pool. Ignore the fact that the current winning guy has only American TV anchormen on his list and your bafflement as to how they are "famous". Everyone's getting sick of that and we're probably gonna change the rules for next year. I am in posession of a rather small violin, I won't break your ears by playing it. Thanks for the advice, in the meantime, I'll just sit and laugh at what people are posting and maybe occassionally chip in.

Awesome, cheers man. I've been on forums before, so I kinda get the crack with posting/replying etc (I'm more of a 'replier' anyway). That's not to say I'm disregarding your advice, that's appreciated. I'll have a look on the Rotten Deadpool.

Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?

I went to see Foo Fighters in Sunderland a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely immense, Dave Grohl was simply fantastic. He had us in the palm of his hand for the entire 2 1/2 hours, Taylor Hawkins is possibly the craziest drummer I think I've ever seen. The Kaiser Chiefs were supporting them too, which was a bonus because I'm a horrible Leeds lad aswell. They were fantastic, but were blown out of the water by Grohl and co.

New Here And Just Saying Hello

Hi guys, found this website earlier whilst at work. Absolutely love some of the banter on here, suits my immensely morbid sense of humour perfectly, so I thought I'd sign up. Probably get this question a lot, but how do I go about joining a deadpool? Can I simply add a list of names to my signature, or would it be better to join a deadpool? That was two questions, but hey. Thanks
