Well, I'm sitting here with a mother who is 65, has had two multiple bypasses (a triple and a quad), three heart attacks, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and just had an implantable defibrillator surgically inserted during a hospital stay that saw her gallbladder become necrotic and her have six surgeries in 21 days.

If KG is anything like her he could live forever.

    Is she still alive?

"rule of three" = celebrities dying in threes during a relatively short amount of time (each celebrity dying w/n a week of each other).

No offense but everytime someone says that they always end up looking like a moron.

David Rothenberg, the 6 year old boy sat on fire by his own father in the 1983 in Buena Park, California has died in Las Vegas at the age of 42. Michael Jackson visited him in the hospital and they became friends until Michael`s Death. David spoke at the funeral. David`s mother wrote a book about David`s ordeal and recovery after being able to survive being burned over 90% of his body. David changed his name to Dave Dave to erase his father`s last name and became a well-known artist in Vegas. His fuck-head father was sentenced to 13 years but got out after about 7 years. Fortunately he was arrested for other crimes and due to the 3-strikes law in California he is sentenced to life - However due to his age he is up for parole 6/2020. He too changed his name to Charley Charles and is in protective custody at Mule Creek State Prison. The prick is 78, no burns, and enjoys 3-square meals a day, free Medical care and a cot to sleep on.

What's worse is that you could probably find people who've done worse things who are free today in California. The justice system is a joke that puts criminals first and frequently neglects victim.

I'll give that to you, but otoh there was probably a place for her or someone else in light of a few ridiculous and dreadful choices (Ronnie Wood for starters.  What's the set of circumstances in which he dies at 70?).  I won't belabor the point.  But yes, hindsight can be 20-20.
    SC

You're one to talk. You were the one that was arguing that her apperance back in march was done to bad lighting. Hearing you lecture anyone about missing Aretha Franklin is just rich.

Reunited with John Travolta for the 40th anniversary of Grease, and they both look great. I’d probably leave both of them off the list for years to come...

I wouldn't say "for years to come" Olivia Newton-John still has breast cancer that has spread to her bones and that can't go away. I predict that she will still perform for quite a bit before cancelling all her concerts and going downhill very quickly.

She died at 09:50 EST, so Prophet is the winner.

The first announcement came 10 minutes after she was pronounced dead, isn't that a little early?

I am willingly to bet money that the Queens announcement will be even quicker.

Aretha was not on my shadow list. She was performing in November 2017. Understandable she is missed off the list.

I agree the only time alarm bells were raised for me was back in march when she looked like a skeleton on stage, even some people might've missed her because @Sir Creep was literally arguing that her appearance was down to bad lighting.

Former The Apprentice winner and then White House sidepiece Omarosa Manigault says that Trump "is clearly obese" and his addictions to Big Macs, fried chicken and daily sun-tanning have caught up with him:

Clearly obese? Clearly obese to who, Stevie Wonder? Just more horseshit made up to sell books. Just say anything derogatory about trump and all these liberals will fawn over it like its the next coming of Christ.

    Cinema Paradiso (1988)

    Kirk Douglas

    Olivia de Haviland

    Isa Danieli

Just a heads up since Olivia De Havilland and kirk Douglas only appear in archive footage and are not credited for there appearance you might want to reconsider your picks.

I will start a thread later and I will take this as the first entry but you might want to reconsider when you find out the tiebreaker rule. Whilst players cannot play the same film if they overlap actors if two players get down to needing the same actor to win they will be forced to pick another pick (cast or crew) from their film to distinguish them from the other tied player.

    I don't want to reconsider.

Thanks SC. I really don't know but hey, I'm just a stupid 2000s kid

Hey MH thanks for the strong love. I don't know how long they've given her unfortunately. I'll be visiting with her every couple of days with my family, the thing being the hospital is at the other end of the city but I think it's worth it.

Thanks everybody else for the support too xx

Thats good to hear hopefully she'll appreciate it.

Soooo.. first time in this thread.

My grandma on my dad's side has been diagnosed with lung cancer which has metastasized to her brain and liver. Not very shocking I'll admit since my whole dad's side except for my grandpa are heavy smokers and some drinkers too. Don't really know what else to say so I'll just leave it there.

I know how you feel my moms mom is undergoing tests right now to see whether she has lung cancer or emphysema. I'd urge you strongly to spend more time with your Gran. Also this may be a bit of a difficult question but how long have the doctors given her to live?

My old best best BEST friend growing up announced on FB that he has some sort of congestive heart failure or heart disease that is incurable and that he has a few weeks to live.
We were pretty inseparable in our teens and early twenties.  Sadly, he became a right wing Nazi tyrant on FB the past decade and simply not a person I liked, so I let it our relationship go, he simply was no longer the person I grew up with.  In any case, it's kinda crazy, him posting on FB about the end is near, his wife posting similar stuff so it isn't a joke, he probably has less than a month.
    SirC

You should visit him and put that stuff behind you. I am sure he'd appreciate it if his old best friend came to visit him in his final hours. They not to bring up his Facebook behavior but rather think back on all the fun you two once had.

  13. Its seems quite a few members of this forum have or have had depression at a young age fortunately, I am not one of those people but since a bunch of you mentioned it. There's alot of research showing that high internet use and a lack of socialization is a major risk factor in depression. With that information I would recommend that most of the younger users should go out more often which is something I am defiantly planning to do more often once I turn 18

And now on to the topic of my slowly impending mortality. I predict that I'll go anywhere between 65 and 90 which is around the average life expectancy for most. My dads genes at the moment appear to be very good with both of his parents alive and in excellent health for there age while my mom has poorer genes with her dad dying of a heart attack at a relatively young age and her mothers health becoming to fail before she reaches 70. I hope I live to a good age and have a happy life. I am not afraid of death but I don't want to die within the next 50 years.

Hats off to joey and quinn I hope you two find a way out of the dark, cruel maze of depression.
