Yeah, me too. But I usually just click on the threads I'm interested in (usually about 5) and after I'm done with that, I mark the rest as read. Also, back when I lived in Poland, I had this glitch that wouldn't allow me to access the forums for sometimes as much as 4-5 days! For some reason, it worked all the time at my grandparents' house, and I visited them almost every Saturday, so that's when I would catch up on the 100-150 unread threads. I think I'd have become a link on this page if I opened up DL and saw 150 unread threads. SC For someone who likes this place so much you dont half seem to moan about it!!

Are we looking at next years number 1? providing he makes it that far of course?
-

my 2016 list is getting bigger and bigger!
-
should i be letting the police know you intend finishing him off?
-
still not dead then....
-
another possibility to lose next year.
-
So (so far) no one this year then? Thats always good.
-
Different question then, how many of the 2014 names who were DROPPED off this years list have died?
-
But John Hurt is Doctor Who John Hurt was The Doctor. More specifically he was the War Doctor in the episode "The Day of The Doctor". "Doctor Who?" is the question that gets asked when he replies when asked his name. I really hoped we weren't going to get into this debate. I used the full title of the programee to counterpoint the comment that had previously been made. Having portrayed the titular character he can be considered as an embodiment of the spirit of the whole show. This year we have a one on one showdown DW vs Wrestling with Peter Sallis against Jake 'the snake' Roberts. Winner takes all? It's just one of those things that niggle me. I get the same when people refer to monster from Frankenstein as being Frankenstein himself. The monster was never given a name. yeah, that one gets on my tits as well

disappointed so many people seem to like picking the same names "just in case" surely thats not the point in a list like this? Comparing two examples, i think its fine to keep picking zsa zsa considering her age, condition and near death experiences over the last 10 years. However is there a particular reason to keep Castro on until he dies? at 89 is "relatively" young in comparison to others on the list. The same with Mugabe, i think picking people because they will eventually die is a waste of time

i just dont think the " hes been on so long we shouldnt take him off" argument is the right one, to me, unless something drastically changes regarding his health in the next few months, i would seriously consider losing him for 2016
-
Do we think hes a possibility for not including on next years list?
-
very disappointed that this thread doesnt have a DEAD tag on it!
-
as an avid Cardiff City fan, i will be more than likely joining you in avoiding all things football by the beginning of September.
-
would be a great start to 2016 though
-
Crowe seems the sensible choice
