It could be that the announcement was delayed until the Independence Day celebrations finish.

    Josef Newgarden suffered a pretty bad crash in IndyCar today and collapsed after getting out of the car. He has apparently suffered injuries to his right shoulder and right wrist, but thankfully no head injuries.
