Someone added a picture of him to his Wikipedia page, and it's a godawful picture, just go see for yourself... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Vincent -
Maybe, his wife died about 6 years ago unless you're talking about someone different.
-
Yeah you're right, couldn't think of another example..
-
Sometimes, but Stan Lee is proving to be strong as always even after his wife died.

Coincidentally, his last album with his band, Little Barrie, is entitled Death Express. -
Hmm, maybe we could bring president of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika back. I remember seeing him on the DL a few years. But again, there's not too many updates on him. I think it's a good pick nontheless seeing as he has had a history of health problems and seeing how many former/current heads of government are dying recently, something to keep in mind.

I have a cold right now so there's no question that it's going around. We'll see.

Right, little review of each one that has passed and one I just saw today. The Offspring/Sublime: Amazing show! Rome is an amazing musician and a great fit for Sublime, the sound was great even if it was in a odd venue (a convention center, that's weird for me ) The Offspring show was really energetic, those guys still have it! Streetheart, Honeymoon Suite, Harlequin, Pumps and Orphan and a guest they added to the schedule after Kenny Shields passed away, Loverboy: An amazing tribute show to Kenny Shields. I got the pleasure to talk with Streetheart's guitarist before the show and he was a really nice and knowledgeable guy about music and Kenny's memories! Honeymoon Suite was very good, Harlequin was very good, I had never heard of Pumps and Orphan prior to this but I'm glad I saw them, because they were great too. Loverboy was of course a highlight since they are a major band not only in Canada but in North America. Diamondhead and opening band 500 lb Furnace: Great show. Opening act was amazing and I got the pleasure of talking with the lead singer of the opening band before the show. Really nice dudes. Diamond Head were heavy as ever and the guitar sound was some of the best! New show I saw today: I heard about this a couple of days ago, they were having this event at the beach, so I traveled down there and saw this cool Celtic rock band from my city of Winnipeg named The Dust Rhinos. They are most notable here (I think) for doing a cover of Solsbury Hill, but all of their other songs are really good too! I met the guys after the show too and they are very humorous and talented. Recommended check out if you like that type of music. -
Liz Dawn even if she seems fine now, you never know: November 6th, 2017

Don't know how many posts I should be making about something that's not a health update or something else like that, but felt like this was nescessary... first things first, I listened to the album and it's godawful, even theneedledrop (Anthony Fantano) gave it a solid 2/10 Anyways, the real reason I'm here is because he's going to court. The trial begins October 5th. His album, which he released August 25th, 2017 (entitled 17) entered at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Last October, he was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery, false imprisonment and witness-tampering. Now, again it's not a health issue but he's been posting stuff on his Instagram story about how he's oh so worried and stressed. Who knows? The start of this trial will be interesting.

Carrie DeKlyen, cancer mum, passes away age 37 after a battle with terminal brain cancer. She delivered her sixth child, Life, in a coma a few days before she passed away.

I'm going to go with where the little girl seems to be looking. I'm pretty sure that's where the sun is.

The death metal band, Death, could be our theme band.

sorry about the slightly late reply, but same picks

don't think this type of death is suited for this thread, may want to see the Fringes of Fame thread....

Aside from him, maybe another possibility from this band is former guitarist/occasional singer Bruce Conte, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012. Not sure how he is doing now, but something to keep in mind.

Should probably also mention on a slightly less notable note, two Molly Hatchet members gone in the same year (Banner Thomas on bass, Hlubek on guitar) -
Still not dead yet...

From some of the posts he makes on Twitter, it looks like it's his brother that's posting is but some others seem like it's himself that's posting the breaking news.

Interesting topic, thanks for making it Joey. I could see someone like Neil Young living 20 more years.
