Julian Munoz hospitalised yet again. It's between him and Rodolfo Hernandez for the "crook politician with terminal cancer who never dies" challenge.

Right now three A-listers are in hospital after being in & out for months. Many things in common between them, all nonagenarians and all top level denialists. 1)LK Advani: Deputy PM and Home Affairs minister of India, highest civil honour Bharat Ratna (which is very very rare), controversial enemy of Muslim, BBC QO guaranteed. Soon 97, hospitalised twice in July, now back in a neurological ward. Every time he is "stable and about to be discharged". 2)Sam Nujoma: 95-year old founding father of Namibia, nowadays much hated in the country. Hospitalised twice in May, rumours he was circling the drain, unable to attend his sister's funeral, now has been in hospital for weeks but he's always "well" or "recovering". 3)Silvio Santos: soon 94-year old Brazilian TV presenter, and allegedly the most famous person in Brazil. Also the former father in law of Alexandre Pato. Reportedly in declining health for years, was hospitalised with H1N1 last month and now back with a bacterial infection. It's always routine check-ups for the family and he ahs never been this good. How long before they are all discharged? Wonder if Mahathir will join the party.

None of these sites add anything to the discussion. Wikipedia is not a source. Come on, you are not a newbie.

Becomes chief advisor to the government. Many want him as the PM.

People were wishing Katsumi Tezuka and James Floyd happy birthday, so I wouldn't count too much on that.

Is Samson Burke actually still alive? At 95 and with no news in the last 15 years, there's a good possibility he is gone off radar.

Silvio Santos recovering well. Recovering from what? He was there for imaging tests according to his channel. You don't need to "recover" from those. And rumours he is critical are swirling around. Silvio Santos but much like Silvio Berlusconi. Top level denialism. -
I didn't realize they were so powerful. She is the next PM by every chance.

Thread for Namibia's founding father Sam Nujoma. Currently hospitalised with infection, and has already been hospitalised twice this year. Last African president born in the 20s and last "founding father" left in Africa. Led a war against South Africa for 23 years, and was president for 15 years. Behind his mask as a respected statesman, he is a cunt who launched large scale repression and deportation of homosexuals in Namibia in 2001, spent his retirement defending Mugabe and called multiple times for every German person in Namibia "to be shot in the head" and for English to be "hit with a hammer". The amount of hate for him on social media is impressive. Could be a 2025 DL candidate.

Insulting Nujoma is blasphemy according to the current president. Also Nujoma's henchman and successor Pohamba (89 year old) said he will slap whoever insults him or Nujoma.

Why report a February death?

Tsung-Dao Lee (1926-2024) "Worst sidekick ever" (Chen Ning-yang) "WhoOOOooOOOooooo?" (Everyone) Age at death: 97 Known health issues: Gravely ill in 2007, frail and housebound for the last ten years. Cause of death: Natural causes Alignment: First generation Immortal, who was at the peak of his career in 1957. He and Chen Ning-yang shared a bit of immortality juice, and he is survived by his older and way more Immortal colleague. In his private life he directed The Room starring Tommy Wiseau, which turned a critical and commercial failure, prompting his departure from the cinematographic industry.

He has looked like that for a while. There's no sign of further decline.

Worth noting she shot herself, which won't happen in this case.

Of course, it's 2024.

Walter Orthmann dead at 102.

Exactly. Even relatively minor names who seem utterly fucked (see KM Shafiullah) seem to recover unexplicably. SM Krishna bounced back from being very critical and on life support. From 2023 I still wonder how is it possible Saalumarada Thimmakka and Shmuel Kamenetsky are stil alive. They both had a period of massive hospitalizations and are in their late 90s with a long history of ill health.
-
Yes, both her and her mother were suffering from it. Of course she goes first.

It's being very bad. Apart from the catastrophic performance of the official DL, which basically means cranky A-listers are not dying, the whole Immortals thread has been sleeping since Shi Ping's untimely death. None of about 100 of the sickest people on the planet is now hospitalised or actively dying. None. The usual in&out of hospital human cases go in and bounce back in a few days. Mahathir, Nujoma, Silvio Santos, Abdullah the Butcher, LK Advani, Arlindo Cruz. Always routine chek-ups for everyone, despite the fact they are in their 130s or have been ill for decades. Chomsky and Carter survived fucking death hoaxes. Jayapataka has completely recovered from being dead, has been out and about for a month or more, has seemingly no health issues now. Alberto Fujimori is running for fucking president, cancer, falls, fibrosis do not harm him. I expected Mujica to be dead a few weeks after diagnosis and he's reportedly beating it now. There are scores of super elder Chinese politicians (Song Ping, Song fucking Ping, and how is Zhu Rongji still going) and decrepit Hollywood actresses/actors. These seem the hardest things to kill in the whole world. Tippi Hedren, Joanne Woodward, Gena Rowlands, Gene Hackman. Going on forever. Yes, that's just not normal.
