Strangely enough, he had a conscience, felt he had done harm to people and dedicated the rest of his life to the quest of democracy. He was a founder of NLD (now all gone except San Suu Kyi) and was arrested at 84. In his last years he survived an unsurvivable stroke, and was manipulated by the junta many times. Tin Oo was an original Immortal and a top class one. Jimmy Carter is burying all his possible successors.
