I guess the Hall of Fame for Mongo is like Rosalynn for Jimmy. Nothing will change.

    Non-British Royals

It seems he is in hospital and rumors he had passed started to spread. No one had enough brain to ask the royal palace for good 12 hours and here we are with another super old geezer failing to cop it.

    Tep Vong will never die.

    David Irving

That site is heavily biased. He has been hospitalised two months but now is at home requiring round-the-clock care. Nobody says he is on his deathbed.

    Minimalists (and other classical composers/musicians)

Giovanni Allevi appears at Sanremo festival after "recovering" from multiple myeloma. IMHO you never recover from multiple myeloma, but it seems he is doing very well at the moment.

    Death, Italian Style

Maria Fida Moro, daughter of Aldo Moro, Italian politician kidnapped and killed by Andreot... the BR, has died at 77. The notable thing here is she was diagnosed with cancer 26 times as of 2012 and in the same year she had suffered two heart attacks. Definitely a tough one.

    Oldest Living State Leaders DP

The most gravely ill on the list: 1)Josip Manolic: 104 in March, bedridden and received last rites in December, seemed an imminent death. However his family insists he is well, so ok. 2)Khamtai Siphandone: 100 in two days, unable to appear for his birthday, whose celebrations have been ongoing for six months. Likely bedridden or even on life support. 3)Jimmy Carter: 100 in October, almost a whole year in hospice care. 4)Ali Hassan Mwinyi: hospitalised and family asking for prayers. Still, it seems not too serious. 5)Violeta Chamorro: soon 95, airlifted to Costa Rica last year, recordwoman of dementia and brain tumors. One of those five is really really overdue.

    Hospitalised!

He's not even number one. Low rank cadre Shi Ping turns 112 in November. Zhang Lixiong would get Xinhua and few other obits. I guess he won't QO, still. If he goes on a bit he will as one of the oldest living men and founding major general of PLA. Song Ping is a sure QO.

    Hospitalised!

Every time the reaper comes to Song Ping he complains Zhang Lixiong should go first.

Malaurie was so popular in the early 50s and so forgotten now that he reminds me of Charles F. Muntz from Up.
