No on the money aspect of it. First off, I legally can’t participate in this because I’m under 18 and gambling under 18 is illegal. But even if I was old enough to participate, I still would be very against the idea of paying to play a dead pool. This would eliminate all the people who either are under age, those who can’t afford it, and those who don’t gamble, and one of the beauty’s of dead pooling is that everyone can have the option to participate in it if they want to. Plus, while assume that your a good mannered person, I can’t guarantee that the money that I won would get payed back. So, please don’t make this pay to play.

The foreign BBC has now released a fascinating obituary on Fu Da-ren's life: https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.com%2Fzhongwen%2Ftrad%2Fchinese-news-44422741&sandbox=1 I still haven't received a reply for any of the links that I've sent, so I'm starting to get a bit worried, but maybe he's just a bit busy right now...

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, there’s no pattern that death follows for hits. The hits will come when they come, they’re not coming due to a “pattern that it follows”.

Maybe Germany isn’t the right argument to support my point. Tbf, it was a rant written at 11 pm, so some of my memory shuts off by then. I’m sure that there’s a better example of a country that has brought itself into a better place than Germany though, I’m sure of it. I do feel that my general point still stands though, which is that millennials are getting more politically involved into activities and that the effects of Trumpism may not be as impactful if we try to rebuild our society into a better place. I say this because, as I said in my last rant, if all of the millennials leave, then it shows the Trump supporters that they have much more power than we do and they have the right to show that we’re cowards rather than people who are willing to bring change (though they don’t really care either way). But, let’s say that all the millennials who saved up enough money to go to Canada do leave this country so they can go to a better place. What would that leave behind? Well, it would really leave behind two types of people: those who supports Trump’s policy and those who are below the poverty line and are unable to leave even if they wanted to. I feel that if people leave the US rather than to try and rebuild it into a better society, they would be quite selfish of themselves not because the things that Canada offer are quite strong (many of them are necessary imo), but because they care more about themselves rather than those who don’t have that opportunity. I would rather suffer the pain so it would allow the opportunity for others to be in that better place, even if I die before that can be fully realized, than to be selfish and just ignore all of those who are suffering. It just doesn’t feel right.

Nah, I read before that Manafort expects a pardon from Trump. He won’t kill himself unless he doesn’t get pardoned.

While it’s certainly a valid point that the effects of trumpism will last for decades, I’m not sure that your last point of saving up money to move to Canada is really the right choice. Every time that something that’s very negative happen in any country, they eventually learn to rebuild themselves up and move on, and while the impact can still be somewhat felt, they can become more prosperous. Take a look at Germany for example, they went through a very rough period when they were ruled by the Nazi’s party as well as a period of being separated due to the Cold War, yet now they are a country with a very strong democracy. The effects of two events doesn’t tarnish the fact that Germany is in a much better place than they were many years ago. I feel that once the US gets out of the era of Trump’s politics, there will definitely be a period where we have an opportunity to be able to rebuild ourselves into a better society. Partisan politics may get in the way somewhat, but millennials are getting much more involved in activism than our previous generation, and the impact is definitely having an impact. If all these people advocating for change leave to go to a society that is better than the US right now like Canada or Finland, than not only will the effects of Trumpism last longer, but it tells the people who don’t care about change that they have much more power than we do because they are all fleeing this country. Even if I have the money to move to a much better place, I won’t be considering to move to another country because I want to give the US an opportunity to try and rebuild itself into a better nation. The process is certainly far from an easy one. But the end result will definitely be worth it in the end.

There’s probably millions of other lil’s. One of them is bound to go before the few on this list...

Sent that one along with another one that showed his life in pictures along with some other text. Will keep you updated if one of those two works as an obit...

Alright, so I’m waiting for points for Fu Da-ren right now. The reason why I don’t have points for him is that I need an obit that’s a) from a big news source and b) one that’s not focused on his euthanasia. If any of you can help me on that front, it would be greatfully appreciated.

Not sure what evidence you have that Georges Loinger has died, cause I’m not finding anything on his demise...

I had a look at your list again, and I can't seem to find her on it. Maybe I missed something. Not like you should be complaining too much though, you're currently in the lead... EDIT: Oh, I misread your post. The one point is taken away now, but your still leading...

Alan O'Neill is dead at 47.

I’m still at 0. Of course, the year is not even halfway done yet. I just need to wait a bit before Brackers inevitably loses her cancer battle and Betty White getting struck by lightning while riding her horse.

With Fu Da-Ren gone, half of my deathrace team has now died. Still think I'll only have a few survivors by the end of this, and my joker might be one of them...

I believe this one will count.

So it looks like Da-Ren is dead, but I need to find an English source for it to qualify...

I think this is third time he beat cancer iirc. I have the feeling that if it returns a fourth time though, he’s not going to make it out alive...

One of the things that I might allow next year when I take over is to allow people who has a pick that’s significant to them (such as msc with Wilson and Death Impends with Foray) write the obituary for that particular person if they become a hit. I have a few other potential quality of life changes in mind, but I’ll stay mum about those until we’re closer to Thanksgiving...

I have to laugh at the first sentence of the most recent update now: Three days later, there's been 8 new hits since then.
