Sweepstakes? It sounds pretty serious. I'm going for Tuesday the 16th.

Plus, she already got her own thread, she doesn't need another one.

Tbh, I don't want anyone to suffer great pain, even if they are as evil as Ian child killer Brady. I feel like no one should suffer a huge deal of pain as they transition to their demise.

On the other hand, there's also people who can last a long time with ALS, albeit Mr Stephen Hawking

Chuck Berry somewhat, considering he was very active until his demise, although he was 90.

Well, if it's true, then I'm happy one of my gambles might actually pay off. It'll put my team in a less unembarrassing position.

Barbara has has heart surgery, grave's disease, and has been hospitalized twice for pneumonia and bronchitis in the past 2 years.
And they both do:
Cat O'Falk, where are you?

May 25th. I was thinking about it, but since it's my last day of school, it'll happen then.

Well, it just goes to show how cultured I am.

I will try to guess 16 anyways cause it is still possible. If I had a guess:
1. Mary Tyler Moore
2. Joost van der Westhuizen
3. David Rockefeller
4. Hugh Hefner
5. Ian Brady (really strong gut feeling here)
6. King Michael of Romania
7. Herman Wouk
8. Ian St John
9. Gord Downie
10. Jake LaMotta
11. Errol Christie
12. Tony Booth
13. Bruce Forsyth
14. Glen Campbell
15. Kirk Douglas (if the record is broken, it'll be someone who's big)
16. George Bush Sr
Although doing this list is reminding me how good certain picks are. And I do have the feeling one of our cancer folk will make it to 2018, and it's not Gord Downie...
-
I think Akihito is actually a decent pick due to him abdicating soon. He might be a year early though . Gay Byrne, on the other hand, has prostate cancer that isn't really that bad, and I think he's overreacting. I would guess one of the poor picks would go, but I felt like that job was already done (albeit MTM).

I feel like we're overdue a death. Not in the sense of in order to break the record (cause I'm not sure if we will anymore), but it just feels like one of the remaining 47 is going to die any minute now.

Ah, I should look into more details for some of these people.

I heard of this one guy from Columbo who got diagnosed with a disease that I can't remember. I think his name was Glen Wilder or something...

5)Paul Van Zandvliet
6)Leah Bracknell
7)Kirk Douglas
8)George H W Bush
9)Tony Booth
10)King Michael of Romania
11)Manuel Noriega
12)Hugh Hefner
13)Charlotte Rae

28)Helmut Kohl
29)Norman Lloyd
30)Carol Channing
31)James Hewitt
32)Shane MacGowan
33)Big Van Vader
34)Herman Wouk
35)Lord Carrington
36)Linda Nolan
37)Javier Perez de Cuellar
38)Sheila Mercier
39)Pierre Cardin
40)Henry Kissenger

45)Daniella Westbrook
46)Paul Gascoigne
47)Sir Peter Hall
48)Kenny Sansom
49)Jake LaMotta
50)Prine Philip Duke of Edinburgh
I feel like a lot of these names don't feel deathlisty. Zandvliet, Bannister, Lloyd, and Big Van Vader don't feel like the type the committee would pick. Others aren't that ill, and some, such as Gasciogne and Samson wouldn't really be good picks. Oh, and I'm assuming Leah Bracknell would be #4

He was pretty frail from what I read.

5 minutes ago, The Mad Hatter said:Msc you are obviously coming from a place of bias. Sponge Bob is one of the most popular kids shows ever. This argument is over Stephen Hillenburg the creator of spongebob is defiantly obitable.
He's not arguing over his obitability, we all know he will obit quite easily. He's arguing that he's not the sort of name you would see on the deathlist front page.

Actually, his name did show up at the beginning of the shows credits as well, iirc during when I did actually watch the show.
-
I don't think he needs his own thread quite yet. He is someone I can see on the list in a few years, but I don't think he needs one right now.
-
Bush Sr still looks a bit frail imo. I think he will see his 93rd birthday, but I don't know how long after that he'll last. I'll estimate his death will come in 3-4 months or so, but I could be wrong.

Onto the Comey issue, Trump hopes there are no tapes of them. Now, why would even mention tapes? Who knows...
