    What about former Finnish president Mauno Koivisto (born 1923)? He is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease as of 2017 but is otherwise in quite good condition (better than many other 94 year-olds). Could he be in the next year's list, or is he notable enough?

    Probably not. This year there was Mario Soares, clearly on his way out, and the committee thought he wasn't famous enough.

    A bunch of really old people;
    - Kirk Douglas (born 1916), an actor (just in case he doesn't die this year)

    - Evelyn de Rothschild (born 1931), billionaire worth $25 billion; Queen Elizabeth II's financial adviser; part of the Rothschild banking family

    - Jacob Rothschild (born 1936), investment banker & philanthropist; worth $5 billion or so

    - Emma Morano (born 1899), oldest known living person and also the oldest woman and the only known living person born in the 1800's

    - Yisrael Kristal (born 1903), oldest living man and also the oldest living Holocaust survivor
    - Betty White (born 1922), an actress

    Let's see. Kristal and Morano will never make the list, they fall under the shameless category according to deathlist. No need to mention Douglas, he'll be on there until he dies, and I reckon Betty White will as well (she'll live to 110 btw). The two Rothschild members are too young, but they might be on in a few years.

  3. If I have a guess, I think Golden Slumbers, David Quantick Showbiz Pals and To Kill A Garbor Sister are safe bets for the top ten, and I'd say Thomas Jefferson Survives is likely to be there as well. But predicting the rest of the teams will have to lie on how the gambles go. For example, if The Living End shows up, it's going to rely on Baghdadi getting killed and two of his uniques dying to guarantee a top ten spot (say Pollard doesn't die). Whereas I would need the Suisala joker punt and one of my other gambles to go correctly for a top ten spot, or three of my gambles without the joker. Chorizo needs another punt such as Pete Frates to gain that top ten spot, and Still Life heavily relies on Gilbert and Stefansson both surviving and Kobayashi obitting for the top ten spot. But then again, this is my first year, so I just talking about stuff that might not even happen. :lol:

    He was my No.1 sub

    Ah, but you guessed Berry, the only one in fact, and your one of many who guessed Rockefeller. Though he was sub #5 for Death Impends, so he's joint leader now if I remember correctly instead of leader. I'll know for sure when I do the update.

    IMO the highlight of David Rockefeller was his face being in a perpetual state of looking like it was about to melt off:

    That's because if his team of goons caught any of them saying negative things about David then they were taken to private room to have their heart ripped out. That's how Rockefeller survived for 20 years. People started being nice to him and in result he was literally killed with kindness.

    Did you enjoy your vacation?
