Tulsa's own Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Leon Russell will have surgery this week in Nashville.
The 74-year-old legend had a heart attack last week. Because of the surgery, the Grammy winner is also postponing all of his upcoming concerts through September 18th - including his September 16th concert in Oklahoma City.
His representatives say they are optimistic Russell will make a full recovery.

Can the majority of the people death list chooses next year be from the baby boomer generation. As you should see from this year alone, many of them are dying off, and it's going to be a big boom.

I think majority of deathlist's new picks should born in the 30s or 40s. Lots of the baby boomers are dying off now.

Unless he's filming a remake of Bridge Over The River Kwai, I'm sorry to say I think he is one of ours. Even David Ginola post his quad by-pass looks far healthier.

I have a feeling that mr carter might be somewhat similar to David Bowie. If it's really true that he cancer returned, and its terminal, then he shall die in September. (Probably not)
