    Still in the top 3, though once Magill dies, I'm going to fall back. But most of my gambles will come later on anyways, so nothing to worry about yet.

     

    Magill wasn't picked very often, and you have Suisala instead. If I may be so bold, I would say that you have a couple of punts that may not be successful, especially Aspin and Brady. Davies is also doing well, I hear? But then, nobody ever got 20 hits, and it's very, very unlikely (but not impossible) that someone gets them this time.
    And that's the thing when you take a gambit. They're not always going to be successful. You just got to hope it does well. I definitely agree with Aspin. I don't know why I picked him to be honest, when Van Zandvliet or Bracknell could've easily taken his place. Just kind of got to hope for the Mirror, or nothing, so he's probably the worst mistake on my team. Brady, as I said a couple of times, was kind of a gut feeling. He could be lying, or telling the truth, but criminals don't last forever, so it could be his year. I should've done more research on Davies, but his cancer is incurable, and, as I seen with other cancer cases, cancer often returns with a vengeance. As Yogi Berra said, it ain't over till it's over...

    Am struggling with my masters course at University .Thinking of dropping out.Depression and anxiety have really made it too hard but as someone who hates quitting the thought of failure is a daunting prospect.My knees are are also still bad.Dunno why I am venting here maybe because my social media accounts are full of people I dont actually like.Maybe it is like confession in a Catholic Church.Anonymously posting is easier.Maybe like writing to a pen pal.(apologies had no sleep for 30 hours and am getting drunk).

    What are you mastering in?

     

    I think he's trying to master in how to ignore the kid...

    Unless Shaun replaces his subs and joker, his score will start up at -4, -3 for all the subs not subbed in plus an extra negative point for a joker he hasn't replaced. You can still gain those points back by Friday though, so it's not permanent until then. So the second leaderboard currently looks like this:

    1=, Everyone else on Planet earth 0

    2nd, Youngwilz -2

    3rd, Shaun of the Dead -4

    McGiffin is now ineligible for selection, which means Shaun now needs to find 3 new subs and a joker. A warning to Shaun, you are at risk of potentially losing points if you don't sub in by the end of the week.

    Tempted only to give points to MorbidKid if Steve Summers (apparently a non-entity Tory councillor down south) dies, rather than the World Cup chap, tbh.

     

    MPFC, Skellern lives but Sarstedt's dead. Though given Skellern's a Drop 40 and not on the Pan Breed team - long may he live!

     

     

    Aye, I know - were you addressing that to Rockhopper... who appeared to have the two musos confused. I've actually seen Skellern play a gig (not summat I'd readily admit to just anyone).

    We are a basket of deplorable much like the Sun readers.For the record I hope Ricksen has a long and happy life ahead of him as distant a prospect as that is.I don`t wish death on any individual in this pool.Death happens though regardless of whether dead pools exist or not.

    Hmm. Still no obit. I wonder, according to the veterans, the obit chances of Mark Sims. Cause enough people did put him on their teams and a lot of people jokered him.

    if he doesn't get one in 24 hours he won't get one at all.

    Lol. I said veterans, not people who don't even participate in the DDP.
