  1. It's going to be interesting to see whether Bush makes it through the weekend or not-i have my doubts.

Meanwhile, Joost is also reportedly in critical condition as well. Ooh, maybe there should be a Bush vs Joost poll (probably not)...

  2. Mere hours before his inauguration?? Coincidence?

Legendary journalist Wayne Barrett, a Donald Trump biographer and investigative reporter for nearly 40 years with the Village Voice, died Thursday. He was 71. Barrett had been battling lung cancer and interstitial lung disease. Barrett’s family said he had recently developed pneumonia, which worsened his condition.

And he was already mentioned 4 hours before your post in this thread: https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/7817-journalists/page-22#entry293846

  3. I admit, looking up people who are probably going to die soon that aren't cancer moms is a hard thing to do. I only have 4 out of 11 people selected, and 3 of them already have a forum mention, so they won't be unique.

Out of interest, I brought the list here. Dead ones are marked out with red, while the other 261 (added Franklin, Fritzl, and Snailham, who's apprarently old enough after all) are still allowed to be selected. Shaun also needs a sub for Jimmy Snuka, so he can either pm me or say it here. You have 1 week remaining to enter. Good luck.

  5. Alright guys. I went through the DDP list all over again to see if there are any new jokers as well as some possible missed ones, and through that search, I can confirm 2 more entrants are now eligible to select. They are Aretha Franklin and Joseph Fritzl. Thank you to everyone that's participating, and I wish you all luck. :)

  6. I predict alot of the bands playing will be up and coming bands that can't miss out on a chance like this.

Yeah, because all the bands in the world wouldn't want a chance to miss out in playing at the start of the apocalypse...

  7. The only reason why I even put the executees on my team was because they were allowed, and that was needed in order to win. If they weren't allowed, I probably would've jokered Mario Soares just like most people. I personally think that they should be banned. I mean, Death Impends didn't joker any of them, but he still won in 18 days, knowing when 2 of them will die. If they are still allowed next time, how about not allowing them to be jokers AND reducing their point value by 200 points. This way, a teams with ill people has a much larger chance at winning than teams who include the executees as they are no longer as valuable as the other members of the team. (Still think a ban on them is the right thing to do).

  8. May I begin the ridicule of the pick of Ricky Javon Gray, or should I await the arbitrary penalty imposed by RA?

He also needs to deal with Snuka for Morbidkid, who's at 23 for Morbidkid. For anyone past 9, may I suggest you give a micro point back every time someone past 9 for Morbidkid dies?

  9. 4th place on my first try ever. Not bad. Obviously some gambits didn't go as planned, but I plan on researching better for next time.

Also a well deserved congratulations to Death Impends.
