So thats that then. A topic that started 17 years and 185 pages ago in response to an April Fools rumour about her health the Queen is finally in the ground, returned to her husband, parents and sister. Not as many appearances (4) as Kirk Douglas (18), Clive Dunn (16) or even her mother (14) but arguably the biggest name to ever appear on the list. Unless some form of tragedy were to befall William it would seem unlikely that anyone alive today will see another sovereign on the throne for 70 years. Maybe a discussion for his page but watching the coverage in the past few days, apart from other senior members of the Royal family the only other person I could think of that might be afforded a state funeral would be David Attenborough but I suppose time will tell on that one.

2022 list fairly motoring now. Carter.

Surprised no one’s started the rumour that she was buried at Balmoral with the Duke and its an empty casket making its way down to London tomorrow.

I assumed that maybe she’d been bed-bound and declining for a while but summoned herself one last time for her duties on Tuesday but apparently she was up and about last weekend according to the moderator of the Church of Scotland. The sudden decline seems to have caught everyone on the hop. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/inside-queens-final-weekend-family-27948953

Almost 25 years to the day since Dianas funeral. I take it they wont make George and Louis walk behind the coffin.
-
Navy tie on the BBC now.
-
Like 1997 will their be a campaign in the press to get her back to Buckingham Palace so she can die amongst her people?
-
If its not imminent it will be interesting to see if/when BBC 1 decides to go back to normal programming or is it just going to be those gates for the next few days.

Almost 25 years to the day where William and Harry were both at Balmoral finding out that their mother passed away.
-
Huw being wheeled out for the afternoon shift in a black tie means this might be very soon.
-
Massive decline since she had tea with Paddington. Was he fully tested?
-
No black ties yet on the BBC.

Liz Truss telling the Queen theres only room for one Liz at the top of the British establishment.

Maybe Harrys Birthday on the 15th.

If the Queen was at deaths door you would think that Harry would've made it a priority to visit her while he is in the country. The fact that he has chosen not to maybe tells us there is no immediate danger.
-
Her not being seen since July, not even in her car and having daily visits from Charles seems to be a little concerning. Interesting to see what Charles says tomorrow at the games when he will no doubt be asked how the Queen is and there will probably be a photo/video released of her next week with Boris/Truss. Otherwise you've got to assume she is in some way incapacitated. We may be near the stage where the Queen will never be seen out and about in public again apart from the photos and videos released from within the palace or when they prop her up for the Christmas speech.
