Suprised to see that she is still alive. Saw her a long time ago on a talk-show with Johnny Carson. She was higher than a kite! Not sure if it was booze or drugs. They kept the camera on her just a short time, basically it was off her and on the interveiwer, the audience and the other guest. She was on a very popular police show at the time called Policewoman, I think. Luckily for her there was no Internet at the time and her actions faded into obscurity. I enjoyed her work.

This has been used to cheat people out of their inheritances. If your daughter does not have money, is there something like legal aid where you live? Some unions offer free lawyer advice (usually one visit a year.) Good luck to you both. Look-up SWEET-HEART scam. Sounds like that might be going on too.

My father was a victim of the Sweetheart scam several years back. They make the senior citizen feel that they love them, despite 30-40-50 years age differences. They clear out bank accounts and get on house deeds, etc. Liked you comment about SHANKING, the gal I refer to got sent to prison for 6 months, not as good as shanking though. :-).

Hard to say. She has lost at least one other child before him. She says herself that she is healthier than her surviving children. The woman is wonder of the world!

My heart goes out to your daughter and you. Thanks for that next-of-kin advice. I have had 2 sister-n-laws die around age 55 because of heavy drinking. Alcohol is killing off the baby-boomer generation faster than the diseases of old-age it seems. Your daughter sounds like a good person.

In Norway we have Easter Monday off from work as it is considered a holiday. Schools, banks, stores, etc. Are closed here. Hopefully you will get the Silver Medal!

I often find that those with the most (so-called) education, are stupid when it comes to real-life situations. I know professors who cannot use a regular old-fashioned stapler without breaking it! They often live in alternate realities than the rest of us. :-) The Word Doofus comes to mind.
