Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has pancreatic cancer. He’s always looked frail to me. One to watch. https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/14/politics/harry-reid-cancer-surgery-pancreas/index.html

The Bellamy salute, seen above, was an extremely common salute to a flag from the 1890’s until its appropriation by fascists beginning in the 20’s. It was the standard flag salute in the U.S. until 1942 when it was replaced by the hand over the heart salute. As the Queen appears to be about five here it is not at all peculiar to see this. Try doing some research before you post something this moronic and reveal your ignorance while calling others retards.

One to keep an eye on for 2019 and 2020. The stress of facing prison, appeals, and deep public shaming may cause him to pull a Ken Lay.

I always thought the Fisher/Reynolds event had more to do with the sudden and shocking nature of Carrie’s death. I’m not saying George won’t go relatively soon but it may take a few months for his health to decline as he realizes he can’t live without Barbara.

Agreed. I think Bush Sr. will go this year but I’d be surprised if it happens that soon.

Sir Creep, Bishops do not wear their mitres at many points during the Mass including the elevation (pictured above) also it is a semi-common, but personal, practice to lower ones head during the elevation as a sign of respect.

For the sake of being complete: Karl Cardinal Lehmann, bishop of Mainz, died on the 11th. https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/cardinal-karl-lehmann-influential-german-prelate-dies-at-81-80258 -
I don't think this question was adequately answered. Though the list has been successful three times in the past with number 50, this is the first time number 50 has been the first to die.

Young’s death brings the number of men who walked on the moon down to five out of twelve. Beginning of the end of an era. Living astronauts should be included in future years as we lose about two a year.

I was going over my list of still living Watergate figures and discovered that Wikipedia has Kenneth Parkinson down as having died in late 2016 but they have no citation and I can’t find one. Does anyone know if this is true?
