Kate Steinle's murderer found NOT GUILTY. Jose Zarate, the man charged with the murder of Kate Steinle has been deported multiple times and according to defense "accidentally shot" Ms. Steinle. I think this verdict is ridiculous, it's not a surprise coming from California though. I don't believe in the death penalty but I certainly wouldn't have been mad if he got it. We should expect Trump to ramp up his racist rhetoric on twitter any moment now, he's been retweeting videos of muslim migrants beating up disabled dutch boys as well so we know he's in a particular mood.

We never get coverage of foreign elections. We got maybe 10 minutes of discussion about the British snap election and an hour of the French election.

Do people in the U.K. really pay attention to our elections? I live in the U.S. and I was fatigued after 2016's campaign, I can't imagine watching it elsewhere from a different country.

I doubt they'll put McCain at the top. With an average 15 month prognosis from July 2017, he could very well make it to 2019, so he's not nearly as immediately ill as Mihai or Bracknell. McCain isn't exactly well known or widely regarded in the U.K. from what I've seen either. I do see McCain in the top 10 though.
