Wow RIP. What a talent

My awareness is that skin removal only happens after *all* weight loss has finished, as any further weight loss would render the original surgery useless. She would have to get down to a reasonable weight for her height, which she is still really far away from. Still, I would have been completely shocked if somebody told me last year that she'd be alive this long, let alone mobile.

New picture for Father's Day

As expected, he handed over control to his son. His son seems to be even more interested and involved in politics than his father.

Nolan's condition seems more immediate, though I don't expect either to finish the year.

Looks better than the Duke of Kent, though that's not necessarily a tall order

Average prognosis once cancer metastasizes to the brain is 3 months to a year iirc. I feel horrible for her, such a long battle and got cheated on by her husband when she was most in need of support.

Robertson brings me to 7/50, glad I didn't drop him because I almost did, lol

Wow, I still expected him to have a year or two left.

He did indeed survive May, though he may make it to May of next year!

Sticking with June 13th

Jacques Delors, again.

Musharraf, Bacharach, and now Turner are three pretty big misses.

Wow, what a legacy, RIP. I knew she was on limited time after she sold her discography, but I didn't expect it to be this quick.

My interpretation was that he was referring to them as a couple, as their being together would end upon his death, but I don't disagree that she could die from a broken heart.

June 13th

Saw this on Twitter and thought it was interesting: no U.S. President has died in May, and Carter's only a week away from keeping that true. However, June and July are the most popular months for Presidential death, with 6 and 7 each.

Harris is my 5th hit

She was also able to walk into today's Judiciary Committee hearing, so she's not entirely wheelchair bound.

Video of Sen. Feinstein at today's committee hearing. She is still clearly dealing with the facial paralysis issues, but sounds somewhat clear.
