What a surprise, a couple of days before various restrictions are lifted and after 2 weeks of daily increases, the govt appear to have stopped bothering to post daily figures.

DHSC hasn't tweeted it yet, but our other reliable source @Grim Up North will probably have it?

Is Frankie Boyle a poster on here?

James O’Brien being (IMO) absolutely brilliant and spot bollock on once again, with a repudiation of our duplicitous govt and a recent poll that has spawned from it. -
Bou’s still around, just not posting. As for Cat...I’m concerned. I hope he’s alright.

Exactly what they’ve written on the chalkboard outside. -

You picked 12 on 6th January, which was taken, so you changed on 25th February to 20, which was taken by Donald on 1st January. The unfortunate thing with sweepstakes like this is you have to be quick and able to read back. You can have 34? Don’t write it off, the enema has only just got going.

A reminder of our picks. At the start of the year, any guess north of theoldlady would've seemed preposterous. My money's on Faceless King Donald this year.

Let's be honest it's not the only pub in the country named after a disgusting human being. Look how many pubs are called The Duke Of York, for example. -

The landlord of the Colston Arms pub in Bristol has listened to the community, shown support for BLM and removed the old name. The new name is open to suggestions. Knowing how excellent the British public are at naming things, I can see this temporary name sticking. -
Oh fucking hell, looking at most of the picks in the DDP is the precise reason why I don't partake in it.

Yep similar here, did mine without wine but in about 5 minutes flat while sat by a machine at work. Very little thought went into it (to the point where YW pointed out I picked someone twice). Pope's bruv did cross my mind, but that's all he was to my knowledge so he didn't make it. I'm still trying to formulate some kind of useable rules for a Deadpool that would filter out anyone who isn't properly famous, that doesn't just involve one person's judgement. Haven't managed it yet.

I only properly know Zanardi! Banali and Bayh I've learned about on here, Draper is off of Kate Garraway and Ratzinger is off of Popes. Every other name as far as I'm concerned could quite easily have just been invented. That's my excuse for only managing the Quarters, anyway. Good luck chaps, particularly An Fear Beag!
-
Oh tremendous. Another case of "didn't pick because I didn't think he was famous enough in his own right". *sigh*

Well it's promotion of diversity, which can only be complained about if they're doing nothing else. But they are; they and McLaren have been instrumental in helping Formula 1 with its We Race As One initiative. -

Good guess Putin. 25th July for the next round, to commemorate the anniversary of my birth.
