Feed me! When trying to rescue three sheep in the high mountains in the municipality of Längenfeld, on Friday a 45-year-old fell to his death. The crew of the helicopter had been called to rescue. When trying to capture the sheep, one of the two marshals slid over a cliff edge on the wet grass and plunged about 150 meters into the depths. https://tirol.orf.at/news/stories/2932083/

Kudos to Asia Argento. But Hurriganes is the most famous Finnish rock'n roll band. They recorded one of their best records about 500 metres from where I live. My dad very well knew the recording "engineer", in the cellar where no one could stand up. Two years before that, they recorded their most famous album at the ABBA studios in Stockholm. Dr Feelgood wanted the Hurriganes guitarist who was born about 2000 metres from where I live. -
I knew a German - he died a year ago. His ship was torpedoed in 1943 or 1944. He barely managed to survive in the cold water. Then he became a POW. He managed to escape but was... what is the word in English - denounce? He was hiding in a hut but was denounced by a peasant in Poland. Russians took him to Siberia. It was rather hard there in Krasnoyarsk. Then he saved a Russian from certain death. In the mines. Because of that became something of a favorite prisoner. Then he was released - in 1950.

One for @bladan here: NSDAP's Rudolf Heß marched off this mortal coil an diesem tag einunddreizig jähre ago, aged dreiundneunzig. Achtung! Countess Elizabeth Báthory (1560 – 21 August 1614) was a Hungarian noblewoman and alleged serial killer from the Báthory family of nobility in the Kingdom of Hungary, who owned land in the Kingdom of Hungary (now Hungary and Slovakia) and Transylvania (now Romania). She has been labelled by Guinness World Records as the most prolific female murderer, though the precise number of her victims is debated. Báthory and four collaborators were accused of torturing and killing hundreds of young women between 1585 and 1609. The highest number of victims cited during Báthory's trial was 650. Thank you Liz Bathory. As Einstein said, time is an illusion. You are still with us LOVE

Oceans are warming at a rate of 4 Hiroshima bombs per second. We are under an asteroid attack. Therefore our kids (possibly) or grand kids (probably) are doomed. That means that our grand kids are probably the final global human generation in history (and that's a conservative estimate) -

Check out also his novels Martian time-slip, Dr Bloodmoney, The game-players of Titan, Clans of the Alphane moon, Zap gun, Ganymede takeover, The world Jones made and Galactic pot-healer

I recommend his short stories, often brilliant, and Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich (a novel), in this order. Some of his novels, especially the late ones, are boring.

Personal favorite from her: nothing. No talent, can't sing, can't dance and her legs give me the creeps

Lauda's condition has apparently worsened. His kidneys have problems, the doctors had to use dialysis catheter. Already before the lung transplantation his kidneys (both of them transplanted) were in no good condition. One more problem is that Lauda's body has not yet adopted the new lung. http://www.heute.at/sport/formel1/story/Rueckschlag--Jetzt-macht-die-Niere-Lauda-Probleme-59909906 Update: there are positive news again? The problems are resolved, with Lauda had been removed the kidney catheter for dialysis. He no longer hangs on any devices. He also did the first physiotherapy and breathing exercises. He breathes independently and can already speak. He is still in the intensive care unit. https://wien.orf.at/news/stories/2929763/

Difficult thing. I am depressed too. Nasty people, climate change and no chance to use my talent. And I'm getting old. Over 100 billion humans have lived of which only 7 percent are alive today. Some time ago I visited ***** and managed to get enough ***** to... listen to Demi Lovato?
