That article's timing sure is interesting alright and it reads a bit like an obituary, maybe you're onto something. I had him on the draft of my list but took him off because he seemed a bit better but maybe he's worth putting back on for 2018.

Apparently Ivanka, Kushner, Tillerson and Gary Cohn all supported staying in the deal (along with the rest of the G7 obviously). Only EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and Bannon supported withdrawing. Looks like Bannon is becoming more influential again after it looked like he might be fired months ago.

This, except Grease is great and ONJ is also great.

Huge name. Great pick for 2018.

Exactly, if she couldn't beat Trump once how does she expect to effectively challenge him now?
-
6th hit for me! I'm not going to mourn him. Did you hear he sued Activision for using him in Call of Duty? Odd guy.

Manuel Noriega, former Panama dictator has died aged 83. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-40090143 My 6th hit of the year and kind of a big deal. He already had a major health incident this year so it was only a matter of time. R.I.P Ol' Pineapple Face

Well then, I'm moderately impressed at myself. 3 hours after I posted that he dies. 6/50 for me!
-
Thanks, I was pretty sure he did though I forgot whether it was him or Mugabe.

I'm sort of new to this but just off the top of my head- Steven Hillenburg- Spongebob creator. Diagnosed with ALS. DEAD: Stefan Karl Steffenson- Lazytown actor. Easy hit if he survives this year. DEAD: Manuel Noriega- Former Panama Leader I'm hoping we can get a dictator kill streak going, Castro in 2016, Mugabe in 2017 and maybe Noriega in 2018. Both of the Bushes- Former U.S President and First Lady. Provided they survive 2018. The Queen and Prince Philip- You can never know when they'll go imo. Nicolas Maduro- Venezuela President. If these riots continue and he doesn't resign he'll either be assassinated or taken out in a coup. Kim Jong Un- North Korean Dictator. Again, providing he survives this year. If something kicks off in the Korean Peninsula (which is looking likely) I don't see him lasting, particularly as China turns it's back on him. A coup is likely here methinks. George RR Martin- Game of Thrones author. He's obese and old and seems unhealthy, he's a possibility. Emperor Akihito- Japanese Emperor. He's abdicating at the end of this year as far as I'm aware due to health and age reasons so he could be an early 2018 hit. David Attenborough- National Treasure. He's over 90 but seems to be in amazing health. He should be considered though I doubt he'll actually die next year (though I thought the same about Christopher Lee in 2015). Noam Chomsky- He seems senile in recent interviews to me and doesn't look well. Ruth Bader Ginsburg- Supreme Court Justice. She's 84 and looks very weary in recent pictures. She'll never resign with Trump in office though so she'll likely die on the bench unless she lasts until 2020 and Trump is beaten. Gay Byrne- TV Presenter. He says his cancer has receded but it can come back at any time. I also agree with a previous commenter that a Monty Python cast member is long overdue, don't think it'll be Michael Palin or Terry Gilliam though. Eric Idle, John Cleese and Terry Jones are possible though. EDIT (Will regularly update for my 2018 list): TotalBiscuit would be a great pick as well, Jackie Stallone, Mel Brooks, Jacques Chriac, Charles Manson, Oliva-Newton John, Ron Paul, Bob Dole, Walter Mondale, Liam Cosgrave, Sydney Poitier, Yoko Ono, Stephen Sondheim, Dame Maggie Smith, Ross Perot, John McCain, Arethra Franklin.

David Rockerfeller and Martin McGuinness were only a day apart from each other. McGuinness definitely overshadowed Rocky in the UK and Ireland.
-
My first year and I'm tied with the Deathlist 5-5 at the moment. It was 4-4 for about a month and a half but I had Noakes on my list. I'm hoping for over 12 but I'll be happy to just beat 10 for my first year.
-
January: John Hurt (Mary Taylor Moore really close second). February: Bill Paxton March: Martin McGuinness (at least here in Ireland) April: Don Rickles May: Roger Moore (he was overshadowed by the Manchester Terror Attack though)

To be fair, the heat couldn't have helped but let's not forget he is a man in his 70's, the oldest man elected president, and he's a bit overweight so he isn't an awful bet. I still think he'll live for a good few years after his tenure is complete (whether that's 1 or 2 terms is too early to call. In my opinion, it all depends on if the economy is doing well in 2020 and who the Democrats run) since he keeps himself clean from drink, smoke and drugs, plus he had insane stamina near the end of the campaign trail, when he was doing like 6 rallies in one day. I can see him making it to his mid eighties at least, since his dad was 93 and his mom was 88 but you've also got to account for the fact that since he's president he's also under more stress and will age quicker.
-
I'm not sure how reliable Eric Joyce is but that's not the first time I've heard rumours about the Nigerian President's health and even death. I can buy it.
-
Interesting all the deaths so far are from the bottom the list. I reckon that might change soon.

dead Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh
LilyForrester replied to BirdieNumNums's topic in DeathList Forum
Oh dear, I do hope that's just a bad angle but if the Bush-like complexion we can see here is accurate he may be in for a more rapid deterioration than I originally thought. That's the first time I've seen him look his age too. -
Watching it at the moment as well, I'm about to start episode 4. It's pretty good.
-
Errol Christie and King Michael are both great picks but I'm going to say Nobby Stiles, though I'm getting the feeling Bush could be gone soon too.
-
That's my 5th hit of the year, took me a while though. In all honesty, I didn't know him very well but I have a few fond-ish memories of Blue Peter so he's still a loss. R.I.P

I agree that George will die first but I think Barbara will die like a month after or something like that. It happened to my great grandparents, after my great grandfather died, my great grandmother died just 9 days after him.
-
You're not far off, he looks pretty bad, Barbara too. I honestly think there's a good chance both of the Bushes die this year.
-
Oldie but a goodie from the ever reliable Alex Jones- The government is putting chemicals in the water that are turning the frogs gay.
-
She looked well at the hospital today. I think she'll keep going for a while.

James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)
LilyForrester replied to Typhoid Harry's topic in DeathList Forum
R.I.P 007. He was one of my favourite Bonds, loved The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker was great cheesy fun.
