Honestly predictions w/ a lot of Indian politicians is useless - go by conspiracy theories here, a bunch of major politicians (especially party heads) kick the bucket in the hospital and are 'pronounced dead' up to a week later so that various remaining factions in their respective parties can gather and consolidate power before the 'he's dead' drama comes into it. I say conspiracy theories, but I know of at least once this has happened for sure, per someone who was a doctor for Jayalalithaa when she died.
