A notable drag queen has passed away due to the virus

Just been given orders by head of Cardiology. Our outpatient site is closed to ALL patients, book urgent patients to the main hospital and only myself and one other lady is allowed in the department to avoid cross contamination so we can sort through the urgent appointments. I chose the wrong week to have two days annual leave that I must take. Slightly stressed.

I get daily email updates and so this is from CEO of the trust I work for between two hospitals in Berkshire that have a&e units: Deaths - 3 (in the last two weeks) Cases being treated in hospital - 77 Reports from staff I work with who treats patients at one of the hospitals affected is that they are short of masks.

Karma works in wonderful ways.

I book appointments for NHS in Cardiology. The state of things keep changing daily with different advice. Might need to contact my manager in the morning asking "so can I postpone non urgent tests until late May or early June?" I literally get no advice from my manager, he's useless.

Witold Sadowy - 100 (famous Polish actor), recently made headlines in British press for coming out as gay

A polish actor by the name of Witold Sadowy recently came out and he's 100 years old.

She is trending on Twitter and this morning checking my phone I thought she had died, lol. "As the war showed us so many years ago, we are all stronger than we think, and however desperate things may seem today, remember that we can still be kind, we can still laugh... and we can still sing."

I think this is because Oprah Winfrey was a trending topic because someome spread a rumour she had been arrested for child sex traffiking or something like that when in actual fact she was self isolating. This then became a meme that only reason Tom Hanks had said he was self isolating etc is because he was involved and didn't want to get arrested. Something to do with Harvey Weinstein telling cops about who is involved.

As of this morning at the trust I work for: Wexham Park Hospital has 13 cases Frimley Park Hospital has 3 cases I then had to cancel a 90 year old's patient over the phone due to staff shortage and talking to her was depressing. She doesn't have anyone nearby to take her to the hospital and everyone else around her are elderly. She gets food parcels delivered though. Apparently her family are hundreds of miles away.

I've been binge watching Schitt's Creek for the last few weeks. Currently on S5.

My friend who is pregnant can't stock up on things like baby wipes because there are none.
