Everyone picks twenty celebrities from the DSCDP Database, plus up to five alternates per Funeral Home. The twenty do not need to be unique to each Funeral Home, but 25 bonus points go to Solo picks that are hits. Solo entries have green Solo flair. A site-wide solo nets a Mourner 100 points. Assorted bonuses are awarded for cases like murder, daily doubles, suicide, dying on one's birthday, and a bonus voted upon by the populace the year before.

Interestingly, last week we in the North American Scrabble community were informed former tournament champion David Gibson died 22 November of cancer. From Wikipedia:

Another reason for me not to choose a Plant-based diet. (My brother died at age 44 after losing 60 pounds in six months on a vegan diet. My brother was highly physically active. Steaks and sedentary lifestyle for me, cheers.)

A friend who posts on DL infrequently but participated in the Poker Tournament would, I wager, appreciate a DSCDP invite. She's registered for all the 2020 Funeral Homes accepting Mourners. I will DM you her handle ( same DSCDP/ DL).

I already have an active DSCDP account, registered for this year -- username is my DeathList handle spelled backward, but if your Funeral Home is by invite-only, my interest is keen. Thank you for offering to register a funeral home!

What constitutes an 'officialized' obituary for alt obituaries dead pool? A celebrity on my list died, I submitted a URL of a news obituary but it didn't have a death date so it wasn't acknowledged, and i remain uncredited. Now Wikipedia has updated with a DoD, and a newspaper has an obit with a DoD. I've been snapped at by the admin in the past for using Wikipedia and, oddly, alt.obituaries sources like film historian James Neibaur (death was a hoax, but neither Neibaur nor I was aware of that at the time) for death citations: where else would one find an acceptable obituary with date of death if not an online newspaper obituary sectionor Wikipedia?

Canada has seven (Clark, Mulroney, Turner, Campbell, Chretien, Martin and Harper) former PMs living. I wonder how many times Her Majesty accidentally called our present PM Pierre. She's survived eleven of Canada's PMs. Do her staff instruct the UK PM to write its name on a 'Hello My Name is' sticker label on official visits?

It's all fun and games until someone loses an I. Which I did, hours after I posted the quoted comment, when my Deadpool III candidate Lee I-a-croak-a got recalled.

August 1 would be a great ABC Deadpool III starting date for me. Like YoungWillz, I too have spent June's "sad, last days" cleaning up and emptying a house after 20 years of residence.

Wishful thinking on my part then.

I swear I've seen an ABC Deadpool III topic in the last week. I'm glad I didn't send my list in yet. Zeffirelli was on both.
