    1919 : Pierre Soulages.

1921 : Philippe de Gaulle, Françoise Gilot, Edgar Morin.

1922 : Pierre Cardin, Roland Dumas, Micheline Presle.

    1923 : Marcel Zanini.

1925 : Jacques Delors, Michel Bouquet.

1927 : Robert Hossein, Claude Sarraute.

1928 : Robert Badinter, Jean-Marie Le Pen, Marthe Mercadier, Line Renaud, Serge Rezvani, Jaques Ciron, Philippe Tesson.

1929 : Edouard Balladur, Philippe Bouvard, Jean-Denis Bredin, Milan Kundera, Régine, Marcel Amont, Charles Dumont, Claire Maurier.

    1930 : Jean-Luc Godard, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Rémy Julienne.

1931 : Leslie Caron, Jean-Claude Carrière, Charly Oleg.

1932 : Nadine de Rothschild, Sempé.

1933 : Jean-Paul Belmondo, Bernadette Chirac, Just Fontaine.

    1934 : Marie-France Garaud.

1935 : Alain Delon, Mylène Demongeot, Guy Gilbert.

    1936 : Claude Brasseur.

    1939 : Brigitte Fontaine.

1943 : Bernard Tapie, Jacques Dutronc.

    1946 : Paul-Loup Sulitzer.

    1947 : Michel Sardou.

    1953 : Claude Barzotti.

Delon. Belomondo and Godard are maybes. Birkin (francophile)  could be added. Bardot peut-etre?

I think Trump is probably happier that Texas is holding the swing states accountable for election fraud in Supreme Court with the help of 18 other states. If Trump is going to legally challenge the election then this would probably be the easiest path for him - assuming he puts together a good case.

Is a swing state in the USA the same as a dogging county in the UK. Or am I missing the point!

    No.

    1) He is “only” 81. She’s 91, but both appear to be in good health

    2) They’re not notable enough for DL. Known for being the first in something is not the same as being a well known personality.

They let Prince Philip on and he is only known for being the Queen's "first" husband.

Haim Eshed, 87, former Israeli space program official, claims that the USA and Israel are in contact with the Galactic Federation. He has to reveal it, before Trump does:

Also at TMZ, Fox and all the usual suspects.

So there is life out there but it is certainly not "intelligent" if they chose to contact Trump above everyone else. I do see that Eshed has a new book out. The cynic in me would think this is a sales promo pitch but an 87 year old professor would not stoop so low. Would he?.

    Was thinking the same thing...

    Greetings,

New to the group, first post. I discovered the forum last week following some link rabbit hole. Love the concept. Today I'm back because it was announced that Bob Dylan has sold his entire music catalog to Universal which makes me think he's getting his "affairs in order". He is 79.

Very shortly Universal will start selling access to the catalog and every commercial in America will have a Dylan score behind it. Ugh...

    Docmartn - John

The Jehovah's Witnesses will get the rights to All Along the Watchtower within the week. I am now going to get on Ebay and wait for his Nobel prize to go on sale. Welcome to the group. Enjoy.

  6. Any chance of getting a Kennedy on this years list. I go for Patrick J Kennedy, son of the late Edward Kennedy. 1) He is an ex alcohol and prescription medicine addict and given his family's history he is bound to fall off the wagon at some point. 2) He is a Kennedy so the chances of a car/airplane/boat accident are high. 3) Always good to have an outside bet. 4) It would make news the world over. 5) I was going to suggest Timmy Mallett but he seems shockingly healthy and happy and is now a full time landscape painter. And David Van Day seems to have cleaned up his act.

  7. Given that I seem to have inherited the concentration of a gnat in the last couple of months I have started going through all the British Library Crime Classics series. Marvellous throwaway stuff. Did not realise that cocaine was such a huge problem in the 20s, 30s and 40s. I recommend Anthony Roll's Family Matters if you need to get rid of a spouse.
