I'm definitely more in line with this train of thought I didn't go deeper than her wikipedia page and it described she had some sort of career before her boost in fame last year.

I still think something along this, if my decisions are frowned upon, would be a fantastic idea for determining if a pick is allowed in the rules or not.

I think you've raised an important concern and I have tried to take the most lenient approach to everything I can here. My first instinct is to only consider subs if the person that dies is considered invalid when they die... but a blanket supercentenarian exception should come into play since I understand that some people may not have considered these supercentenarian fitting under the rule "Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently". I'm going to take a pause and a breath before I implement this. Since mostly everyone selected subs it should be fine, as everything will be in this strange world Cheers! I'll get to it in a second or three!

In a case like this, I think we would just move your next sub up. That would be Prunella Scales, since Sidney Poitier had already been brought up

Worlds oldest man ~ controversial choice! "Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently" This could be one that I enforce for the scoreboard in regards to the worlds oldest people (who aren't famous for any other reason) In searching him up, the only thing I could find for him being famous on his own merit was "In 1927, he became one of the founding members of the Puente Castro Football Club, in which he played as a center-forward." I don't think this was particularly significant. Other than his advanced age, was there any reason why he was famous? I don't know enough about football, but I couldn't find anything significant enough in that regard.

I'm not necessarily changing the masterlist, just if your appropriately ordered sub dies and there's an exception in your main list, it will absolutely contribute to your score - I may need a reminder though. I've been told that one of my picks, Berniece Baker Miracle (Marilyn Munroe's sister), may not have been as alive as I thought she was! Some may call it laziness, I call it absolute fear of botching something up. I think it's all fine though

The only reason I can see for rejecting this are the possibility of micro-edits that can happen on the linked post, but that's mainly from my own lack of understanding of the forum and if I can check on that.
